I have boots and super drug near me. What do you buy that gets everything off or am I better going premium?

Vichy one. The only product of theirs that I use.

But the game changer for me was how to apply it - which would probably work for any decent EMUR.

soak a pad in remover. Then for mascara food the pad in half and sandwich your lashes inside the pad press firmly and hold. You can gently press Along the length of your lashes while keeping the pad I. The same place. Keep doing this for 30s or so then take off the pad. You should find that 80% of the mascara comes off without any rubbing. Then do the other eye with a new pad then use a final pad to wipe off the remainder. Honestly changed my life along with wrapping nail varnish covered cotton wool in tin foil like they do at the salon.

Micellar water, the garnier one at present but they all seem to be the same - cheap and effective at removing eye make up

The Body Shop's Camomile cleansing butter.

The No7 eye makeup remover (blue and clear liquid, white cap) is good at getting makeup off (such as lipstick that other removers can't shift properly), but it leaves a white residue on my skin and it irritates my eyes.

Baby oil on cotton wool

Bioderma. Love it, and can usually get some good offers online.

Aqueous cream

Boots Cold Cream. Cheap as chips. Use it for everything face-related - cleansing or moisturising.

Any of the micellar water cleansers. I currently have a Nivea one and a Garnier one and both work brilliantly on a cotton pad.

Baby oil or wipes
