How often do you wash your hair??

I have always washed my hair every morning as it's very fine and has a tendency to get greasy quickly. I'm currently trying to 'train' it and only wash it every other day but have also taken up a new regime where I'm exercising 2-3 evenings a week which is making it feel a bit grubby/sweaty so I'm ending up washing it twice a day instead!!
I can't win!!!

I have done much research on this using my scalp.

I need to wash my hair daily for it to look clean.

Due to illness and not washing hair as often as I would like, I can assure you that washing hair regularly isn't the reason hair is greasy. It's greasy because it's greasy and continues to release as much grease despite only being washed once a week or so.

Every 3-4 days. It's quite thick and looks better when it's not been washed for a day or two.

Every three days. Day one is clean and worn down. Day two is worn half up half down. Day three is up and dry shampoo.

Then it's day one again. I have gone 6 days before but I was sick and lazy.

Short hair and wash every other day. The second day I soak it in the shower a my hair takes on the shape of the pillow overnight and is impossible to restyle otherwise.

I used to have to wash it daily when I was younger but now at 43 it's a bit less greasy.
