Does this type of sleepwear exist?

Not any shade of pink, not cartoons, not leopard print, not twee pattern, not uber sexy, not looking like it's designed for a 6 year old, not a onsie...

I have spotted the odd lovely cotton/silk things that are simple navy/grey etc but seems you have to pay mega bucks for something basic.

Any ideas? Happy to pay £30 per nightdress/pj set and need both summer and winter wear.

Sainsbury. Plain or lightly patterned neutral cotta bottoms with fold down waistbands and a variety of complimentary tops

Try rosie for autograph at m and s. I have lovely soft jersey pjs from there, deep cowl back with silk bow across the shoulders and almost harem pants (a lot nicer than that sounds). Really unfussy and comfortable. I don't think they sell them anymore but there are plenty similar.

Fanny- they are both lovely. The top in particular is pretty much exactly what I was after and the bottoms are lovely but don't really want an obvious print so off to see what else that have in that range...

Is just me or is it really difficult to find what these PJs are actually made of?!

I think the M&S Rosie stuff has all sorts of nasty fibres now, sadly, It was good when it started. I'm really struggling to find anything I'd be willing to be seen in, even by myself!

Polyester and viscose. Not for me. I am so disappointed because they did look fab.

OP, I buy t-shirts and bottom from GAP. V comfy, cotton, inexpensive and look not-girly, not-pink and not-made for a child. Suits me just fine.

Pacific- yup, just checked and it's not so much as got a sniff of a natural fibre in it.What a shame. That's really annoyed me as I thought it was exactly what I was after.

Pacific- too floral for me, I reckon I'd make this look frump-tasting.

Check out Gap's BodyWear or whatever they call it. A kind of crossover between yoga/lounge/sleep wear I think.

I got some nice lounger type pants in a Breton stripe and a plain white tshirt from New Look of all places. It was a couple of years ago though.

I wear real clothes to bed quite often (never wear the same ones outside, for those thinking I've found a way around the 'parents in pyjamas' dilemma!) Currently wearing tapered harem stretchy jersey-type trousers from Next and a tshirt from Sainsbos, both black, but I'm sure other colours are available! So comfy and more flattering than most pjs. Also less embarrassing if the postie calls early!

I took up sewing as a hobby partly because it's stupidly hard to find decent quality cotton clothing, including pyjamas. Sorry that wasn't more helpful.

There's loads now that lounge pants and t-shirts etc are all in.
Next usually have normal plain ones.

It's tricky as I do want something that looks like sleepwear, rather than just a t-shirt and joggers/leggings, which is what a lot of the Gap stuff looks like.

it's quite cheap, not too hideous and mostly cotton (doesn't feel synthetic).

Hixie- When I look at pj's in most shops I do feel like I've stumbled across children's section! Even quite sophisticated brand come over all twee/naff when it comes to sleepwear.

Modal is made from cellulose - v soft. I like it and wear it. It's often combined with cotton.

Some of the bamboo sites have nice sleep wear.

Furry- that's actually quite nice in the other colour too (which is strange as usually would always pick navy over pink).

Think I just feel a bit miffed still as the Rosie stuff is perfect except fabric. Tempted to go and see what it's like in the flesh.
