Here She is really pretty but needs to leave her husband step away from the make up box. I'm assuming this was professorially done the lips are too red and too matte and it's too heavy for a day look.

She always looks so sad.

The makeup may be heavy but it is probably intended for cameras and further shots. It will look heavy for close-up shots.

Charlene is gorgous, she really looks so exhausted thats all, I think its natural for a mother of one year old twins, plus this very short hair cut doesn't suit her at all, she looked beautiful at the christmas interview you,

I don't know whether the rumours are true, she knew albert for some years and surely she knew all his issues ,

I think it's a hard look to style - all white including mahoosive gloves, veil and modest skirt. She prob wanted makeup that made it clear she wasn't a zombie.

Natural beauty? This is what she looked like before she became a Grimaldi with the help of plastic surgery and cosmetic dentistry. The results are stunning.

I don't buy all this Charlene sad face business. She hung around Monaco for years waiting for him to marry her. He's 20 years older than her and she was aware of his morally dubious past such as not acknowledging his illegitimate DC until he was forced to.

Albert looks utterly pissed off on his wedding day though!

iPaid - That must be a very old photo (from her swimming days?). I was thinking of the more recent past, where she looked like in this picture, with her natural lips.

Re "all this Charlene sad face business" - One of those children was made public days before the marriage. Note the age of child and you will see why she may have been upset. There is a limit to what I can say in a public forum but everyone who lives in or around the principality knows the general lines of the story through personal contacts.

'fraid she was a little one Zebra - she was chosen for being the right height and colouring! Her mum (my sister) has a few theories about Charlene though.

Aww how cute! But also odd re the colouring thing. I remember reading that Princess caroline designed the dresses with the Monaco ballet, and there was monogrammed this and that and a giant hat.
