I love Topazandpearl's Uniqlo haul

On train home, after a lovely afternoon/evening of good food and lots of fizz. It was so nice to see everyone, quite a cosy MU with just the 6 of us but that actually meant it was easier to chat and we'll have a big one next time I'm sure.

Sleep was looking lovely in a beaded dress and with fab gold bag.
fedup had on her new sparkly c de c jumper and great jewellery.
Amber had her fab Valentino bag, cropped flares and rocked the red lipstick.
Lib was looking autumnal in R&B Chelsea boots and leather skirt with sparkly j crew top.
And Marsha and I went casual in jeans, heeled ankle boots (her rag and bone me pistols).

It was really hot in the restaurant!! But a good time was had by all.

And when I left Lib I somehow managed to go straight into LK Bennett and buy the brown riding boots she bought they are gorgeous!!

Hello Bendy! Of course you can barge in. I like the suit. Where did you get it? I am afraid you will have to wait for Lib for some brogue love. I just don't get them!

I so want a cape exactly like Blair's. Just lovely. In fact her outfit from today with the new LKB boots will be perfect.
I am going to buy lou's bag. Just means we can never go out at night together again
To match her lippy amber rocked a very gorgeous red McQueen scarf.
fedup should always wear pink. Suits her so well. And has made me want some occataine perfume...

Loved Lib's boots, sleep's parka, Marsha's hair, Blair's watch and FedUp's bag. Lovely afternoon spent in great company. Agree it was nice to get to chat to everyone properly, but the rest of you were missed!

Hope QueenC is having a lovely break and that Shop and Mara's parties went off without a hitch!

Sounds like a lovely mu, great sounding outfits, really hope I can make the next one. Went out for a family meal for dh's birthday.

So funny about the cape, when I tried on the riding boots I looked like a highwayman. Then I remembered that is what HoC say that the Romantic (I think?) style personality should use as inspiration

The suit is from Yoox, it's a Dolce & Gabbana bought in the sale with extra discount - bargain! (Otherwise it would have been decidedly out of my budget)

Hmm, my style.
Casual dresser when at home - jeans, t-shirt and jumper or cardi. Skirts in summer. I don't think dresses flatter me, but like them very much on other people.
At work - lots of black trousers and silk shirts, some skirts and some suits. I love heels but have a limit at just short of 4 inches in that I cannot walk in higher ones which has restricted me in the last couple of years because most of the heels were really high.
I don't own any boots except a pair of black desert boots.

I do most of my shopping online, a lot at the outnet, brora, last underwear haul was agent provocateur (with a terrible success rate in terms of actual fit!)

Finally back in the land of the living, horrible flu, really knocked me out. Hope those who haven't been feeling great this week are on the mend.
Glad the MU was good, hope to be able to make one.
Shop what's the sizing like on the sweatshirt and is it a true red as opposed to an orangey red? I get their feed on my fb and have liked the look of the sweats.
Not much fashion news, all of my Hush sale order went back, just didn't like any of it on me and I normally do well with their stuff.

One last thing, I just wanted to say that despite our whittering on here about lovely clothes, shoes and whispers expensive bags, the vogue ladies are so much more than that; all are well educated, have good jobs, lovely families and amazingly, can hold a conversation on subjects besides fashion!
