I'm going to wear this dress to a winter wedding. I've only worn it in the summer with bare legs and high sandals. How do I style it? Can I wear opaques like that in the photo? I only have patent shoes, will they look odd if worn with opaques?

Ok. Im someone who feels the cold and lives up a mountain with no central heating so wouldn't dream of going to a winter day do without a woollen dress, tights and boots and big warm coat. Im sitting by the fire now having thrown some more logs on. My view is probably warped by this lol!!Xmas Smile

Since you will be wearing it for winter, I think going bare legs is not an option. I would vote for nude tights and navy blue/brown high heels. You can also add a golden fur coat on it.

The venue will be warm. I wouldn't worry about the short time outside.
You look great.

Have a look some ideas here. It's for New Year's Eve, but most of outfits would be suitable for wedding guest as well.

No boots for a wedding! Also depends on how big and formal the wedding is and the venue. You could get a way with something a bit more glam or summery if it's a less formal do with everything in a hotel rather than church etc.

God no, not boots!

Gorgeous dress. Black shoes/bag with silver accessories will be perfect.

As for being cold, it'll be inside mainly and there'll be champagne and food to warm everyone up. 🍾

Re the first two dresses, tbf if my arms looked like that I'd cut all the sleeves off my dresses.
