20 years ago I would have loved it for a party but the legs now need more coverage. Grin

WhatamessIgotinto · 24/11/2015 16:58

Lovely if you're young and lithe. Not so much on me as I am neither young nor lithe. Love the dress.

LardLizard · 24/11/2015 16:58

I love the colours and does look really nice in rl
But not sure about the high neckline

Also what colour shoes ..?

Not a fan, makes the model look bottom heavy and gives her a mono-boob. What's the occasion?

nilbyname · 24/11/2015 16:59

Like it!

Narrow if shoulder, small of norks and it will be lovely

LardLizard · 24/11/2015 17:00

No real occasion as such
I do have a party next year though
I would wear it on holiday although perhaps the high neckline would make it a bit stuffy?

If it is sequins all over I would avoid.
I have a top like this and every time I wear it my inner arms end up looking like they have been attacked by Freddie Kruger.
Ouchy.

FunkyPeacock · 24/11/2015 17:10

Looks ideal for Xmas parties etc assuming you have a suitable figure

LardLizard · 24/11/2015 17:13

Similar with different neckline

But I prefer the first

I like the second one better actually. Both are very nice though.

UnDeuxTroisCatsSank · 24/11/2015 21:01

Much prefer the second one.

Dowser · 24/11/2015 21:13

Love it and I like the first one

LardLizard · 24/11/2015 21:44

What colour shoes go with either dress ?

OP posts:
Blarblarblar · 24/11/2015 21:47

French connection? I like the second better but they have a sparkley low neck one that looks nice too.
With regards to shoes are you willing to go bare legs?

FellOffMyUnicorn · 24/11/2015 21:49

i love the 2nd one, second the comments about sequins and arm scratchings.... VERY painful!!

RJnomore1 · 24/11/2015 21:51

Second one is much better.

nilbyname · 24/11/2015 21:56

Black shoes.

Or cobalt blue .

LardLizard · 25/11/2015 13:43

What do you prefer about the second one ?

OP posts:
LardLizard · 25/11/2015 13:43

Is it the neckline ?

OP posts:
LardLizard · 25/11/2015 13:44

Yes bare legs is fine

PurpleDaisies · 25/11/2015 13:46

Another vote for the second one-the neckline is much nicer. I'd probably wear gold sandals with it.

Dowser · 25/11/2015 14:27

I don't like what's in the neckline of the second one. The colour doesnt seem to go with the rest of the dress.
Shame they didn't just make a simple v and leave that out. It would get my vote then.

Blarblarblar · 25/11/2015 14:33

I'm not digging the neckline in number 1 but I love the rest. If you don't have big boobs though it will look fab. Love the sequins you'll look like a mermaid. Strapy black velvet/suede with nice toes gets my shoe vote.

burnishedsilver · 25/11/2015 14:39

It's very christmasy. If you're not planning on wearing it over Christmas I think it will hang unworn in your wardrobe.
