First one much better provided you have toned arms. High necklines are in. Black shoes, bare legs. All good. The second is too mumsy-try-hard-to-still-be-cool.

Don't like the first one, like the second.

The stripes in the first are very unflattering, the chevron stripes in the second work much better.

I think the sequins round the neckline will rub horribly if you have to move at all wearing it.

strawberryandaflake · 25/11/2015 15:40

True, the neck sequins do look itchy. Confused

I prefer the second one. The first is problematic if your arms aren't really toned. And I also agree that neckline on the first can make boobs look mono-booby. You'd need a T-back or strapless bra for the first as well. Also not good of you are at all pear-shaped.

Good if you are slim and small-boobed though.

I'd go silver, peacock or even copper. Ankle straps with filled-in toes

I love both of them! It isn’t sequins on it it is tiny little beads sewn on which I think would make it less uncomfortable to wear. Louisa wore the first one on Xfactor (can’t remember if it was Saturday’s or Sunday’s!) at the weekend - it looked awesome. I love it but I definitely don’t have the legs to wear it Sad.

I think you could easily wear it with black/gold or even silver Smile

It’s in that link near the bottom of the article Smile

Second one much nicer. Good for parties if you're slim and youthful but not to my mind a holiday dress - though I don't know what you do on your holidays!
