So many of those 80s in your face perfumes are fab. Not like the sweet sugary pink stuff that comes out every week now, with such stupid names I don't even want to smell them.

I am shamelessly reviving this thread.

I sprayed some obsession on me at the airport a week ago. This has lead me to buying a vintage sample set of calvin Klein 90s perfumes on etsy.

I am so excited: contradiction, eternity, obsession, escape and CKone. Vintage. I didn't even know that reformulation happened until i sprayed the new obsession on my wrists last week.

I used to drown myself in Obsession when I was about 17. I must have choked everyone in the area!

I am a hater I am afreaid. I absolutely loathe all Calvin Klein scents (refuse to call them perfume!) and Obsession is the one I truly hate. It is Coopers Fly Spray. At one time every lift and tube stank (reeked) of it.

I wore Obsession at college, a friend gave it to me. I loved it. I like all the Poison's, Angel, JPG and most heavy perfumes.

Now it's patchouli (yes, I know everyone hates it!).
I was at a protest last week and my good friend came rushing over saying, "a tiny patchouli scented breeze and I knew you were here!"
It was my coat not me!

I lost my sense of smell in March 2020 and it has still not returned completely so I err on the side of much less perfume these days.

This thread is sending me in search of a perfume department (or eBay for the vintage set!)

I loved Obsession. It was one of my first proper perfumes. My friend bought me a huge bottle for my birthday and I still love it. I much prefer strong perfumes.

No such thing as a dated perfume and Obsession is an excellent perfume. I just bought myself a cute 15ml bottle for under ten quid and it smells amazing and lasts all day.

Wear what you love and love what you wear.
