Where can I get nice gym wear on the cheap?

All of the sports directs near me are quite naff and full of heavily logo-ed Lonsdale.

I love the jazzy graphic running tights from Nike store.nike.com/gb/en_gb/pd/printed-engineered-running-tights/pid-10294170/pgid-10957568 but I cannot warrant £80 for them.

Has anyone seen some similar gym wear about? Either on outlet or discounted sites, or lesser known brands? My hunting isn't going very well.

I am looking for some colourful running tights, a crop top and some vests.

Decathlon has some good value. I often get stuff in lidl and aldi. I prefer aldi style but the lidl range fits me better.

fredandme123 · 25/10/2015 21:20

TK Maxx or try Puma, they are cheaper.

Pinkponiesrock · 25/10/2015 21:21

Lisp and Aldi stuff is good, cheap but washed well. H&M is also great, lovely prints and designs with a mid range price tag. Tk maxx sometimes have good brands in too.

VinylScratch · 25/10/2015 21:21

George at asda, I got a compliment the other day on my George gym leggings.

mapmyface · 25/10/2015 21:23

New look is surprisingly good. I favour a new look loose gym vest over my Nike ones. Their sports bras are really nice too, and everything has worn and washed really well and they've had lots of use

Callmejudith · 25/10/2015 21:23

New look have some lovely bits. The leggings are nice and thick with a wide waistband.

poorbuthappy · 25/10/2015 21:26

My aldi running trousers are the bees knees. Also have a shower roof jacket which is good and I've bought a long sleeve running top today. Basically aldi for everything apart from trainers!!!

MilkyChops · 25/10/2015 21:34

Oops Blush sorry.

This is why I don't hang around the ecerise section. I'll take myself back to sleep deprived and fat club haha.

Orangesox · 25/10/2015 21:44

I actually rate some of the supermarket offerings pretty highly.

Sainsburys and Asda in particular have been fabulous quality, washed well, retaining their shape etc. Had a few choice pieces from Aldi also (mostly the men's long sleeve base layers etc which I like for hiking and general outdoorsy pursuits).

I often pick up previous season wear in outlet stores (Cheshire Oaks, Bicester Village style nightmare affairs) but if I'm honest I don't think they're any better quality than my supermarket pieces, it's just sometimes I see an outrageously garish item that I know will make my DP cringe, which makes it entirely worth it Grin

januarysnowdrop · 25/10/2015 21:53

Ebay - there is an extraordinary amount of barely worn expensive gym stuff that people have bought and then realised they're never going to wear. I've picked up some real bargains.

mrslebon · 25/10/2015 22:11

H&M every time.

PurpleDaisies · 25/10/2015 22:18

H and m have really good quality sports kit, and fun graphic print running tights in lots of prints too. Sainsbury's and tk maxx are good too (especially the kyodan range in tk maxx).

vanillabeauty · 25/10/2015 22:20

M and m direct, may have something.

AlisonWunderland · 25/10/2015 22:22

Matalan have some ok stuff. Deffo cheap!

aniceearlynight · 25/10/2015 22:39

I really like GapFit - good quality, good choice and washes and wears brilliantly. I wait for one of their 30% off offers and buy then.

trixymalixy · 25/10/2015 22:53

I have got two fantastic pairs of patterned leggings from primark £7 each.

ChickenNuggetLover · 25/10/2015 23:19

I saw some Nike-inspired gym wear in tesco earlier, was pleasantly surprised. Check out online?

BlameItOnTheBogey · 25/10/2015 23:42

agree with ebay. I but sweaty betty stuff from there for half the price and its never been worn.

areyoubeingserviced · 26/10/2015 05:50

Try lidl

Wtfmummy · 26/10/2015 05:54

Primark have some cool stuff and I was in TESCO yesterday and they had some funky leggings too in their clothing range

Hopefully · 26/10/2015 06:34

H&m every time.

Decanter · 26/10/2015 11:48

Hi OP was thinking of you as I browsed Matalan this morning, but didn't have my fone to take any pics - they had some funky sports legging like the ones you've mentioned, very reasonable. You'll probably be able to see them online.

trixymalixy · 26/10/2015 13:09

I was just in h&m and they had some very similar leggings to the ones in the op.
