Stocking jeans - what do you think?

Do you like them? At first I thought the model was wearing denim shorts with leggings/tights.

I cant quite make up my mind about them...

I don't get it. I mean why? Looking at the pics has made me frown so I guess that must indicate that I don't really like them.

Are they available in many other high st stores?

Why not just wear denim shorts and tights if this is the look you are going for? These just look weird, the two-tone fabric is hideous. Does anyone remember the two-time dreddy jeans that all the boys used to wear early 90's? It's like a mum-version of those.

They're like those v neck jumpers with a shirt collar sewn in.

No. This would be me as a 35 year old trying to be trendy like my 13 year old but in a mumsy marks and Spencer's type way. Just no.

Sound like they heard about JBrand's "stocking jeans" which are just very very lightweight tight skinnies, and hopelessly misinterpreted it.
