Do you like them? At first I thought the model was wearing denim shorts with leggings/tights.

I cant quite make up my mind about them...

Odd. As others have said, why not just wear tights/leggings and shorts? That way you'd get a wider choice.

This looks like someone going for that look but not quite having the nerve.

In the mid '90's (when I still had a size 6 figure, in my defence), I'd wear denim hot-pants with opaque tights and thought I looked pretty good in them.

These are the mum version, getting it slightly wrong, but trying very hard.

I have some that are black jeans at the top and then black faux leather down the legs. Got them from H&M last year and they are super foxy on. Can't wear them at the moment though as I'm pregnant!

They just look daft - like she had oddly baggy-kneed tights on.

I'm always intrigued at the design/manufacturing approval process when I see weird shit like this - I mean, exactly how many people said yes, fabulous, let's go ahead with this one Confused

It's a bit of a reverse 'wet yourself' look.

Looks like she has been wading in a very still lake. I do not like them Confused

They are a few years too late to be on the "denim shorts with black tights" look.

oh christ! no don't do it OP!

people who can pull off the tights/shorts look now it's not in fashion anymore are few anyway I think, though

Sound like they heard about JBrand's "stocking jeans" which are just very very lightweight tight skinnies, and hopelessly misinterpreted it.

They're horrid.

I can't quite believe that M&S think their customers will want to buy them...Jane Norman- now they'll sell like hot cakes there.

No. This would be me as a 35 year old trying to be trendy like my 13 year old but in a mumsy marks and Spencer's type way. Just no. Grin

They're like those v neck jumpers with a shirt collar sewn in.

*two-tone dreddy jeans

Report
Qwertybynature · 25/10/2015 14:28

Why not just wear denim shorts and tights if this is the look you are going for? These just look weird, the two-tone fabric is hideous. Does anyone remember the two-time dreddy jeans that all the boys used to wear early 90's? It's like a mum-version of those.
