Please kindly link to your suggestions as I'm in the market for one (no yellow gold please).

This is what I have 'selected' myself so far:

Oh I love that slugs!

I was going to say V&A shop they have amazing jewellery, some of it quite quirky though.

TwoInTheMourning · 05/10/2015 17:57

That's very spectacular slug but I wouldn't call it 'every day ring' Grin!

This is above budget, but it's lovely. www.etsy.com/uk/listing/205698906/planet-ring-precious-stones-silver-or

White gold rather than silver though.

I recently had some of my jewellry appraised and valued by Bonhams auctioneers and got some great advice from them. You can get far more for your money if you buy at auction (look online at the Bonhams catalogue).

The appraiser old me that it is not uncommon for the jewellers of Hatton Garden and Burlington Arcade to buy at auction then put the items for sale in their shops with a massive mark up.

You could get something (or several things!) really special and unique.

I don't have that much time to be honest. I need it in 2 weeks time... What does everyone think of the Tiffanys ring I have linked to?

I think the Tiffany ring is a bit yawn. The meteor one is much nicer.

YellowOfficeBlock · 05/10/2015 19:43

I have this one, wear it every day. m.pandora.net/en-gb/explore/products/rings/190919cz/by/page/6

YellowOfficeBlock · 05/10/2015 19:44

It says entwining silver rings but it's all one ring

TwoInTheMourning · 05/10/2015 19:53

But the meteor one is not an every day ring as fabulous as it is. Please help me Confused

I think the Tiffany ring is beautiful but I am a huge fan of the Paloma Picasso range. If you like it, buy it!
I also like several of the Pandora stacking rings, especially the leaf ones.

Hi again slug. Without a shadow of a doubt whatsoever there's most definitely a markup on Tiffany's rings, one pays for the cute turquoise box and ribbon and the name, absolutely. BUT, there's no way on earth the rings you have linked to, cute as they are, would be remotely comparable in real life to the Tiffany's one in terms of lusciousness, shine and longevity. And I do want something that will last and last Wink.
