What boots are you all buying this year?

Mine are deader than a dead thing & the repairs they need will cost more than the boots did Sad

Inspire me, please!? What do you like? Or what have you bought? I haven't seen anything much I fancy yet but think it's because I'm constantly looking for something like I already have on my feet.

Believe it or not, I've just bought a pair of black 'suede' shoe boots from Sainsbury's for £20 and I love them. I can hardly ever wear heels but these are pretty damn comfy. I don't suppose they'll last past this winter but for the price. ...

lucysmam · 26/09/2015 10:32

RJ, they sound like a good idea!

I seem to be drawn to pinks/reds lately & think they'd go nicely. Especially when I get my hair done. I might get Primark's £8 version for now (they were flat & a bit slouchy) and see how they look when I've finished 'updating' myself a bit before I buy.

I'll need something more sensible too for wearing in the rain we always get but Primarni had some fairly smart looking black welly boots for about £12 I think - I didn't actually look at them, they just caught my eye.

I would like some f* me boots. Some random called me an ugly munter and frumpy the other day so I think I need to up my game. So any really spiky heeled knee high boots would be good.

BabyGanoush · 26/09/2015 13:04

yes, spiky boots to kick him in the shins!

lucysmam · 26/09/2015 13:27

Omg! Why do that? Baby, I would be aiming elsewhere...cheeky fucker!

I am considering ash ankle boots, I need new black ones. I want some kind of grey boot too, but haven't seen any yet.

Dancergirl · 26/09/2015 16:10

I've just seen this:

I really like them, don't think they're available yet though.

ipadmad · 26/09/2015 18:24

Ecuse, can you link to your shoe boots please as I'm in the market for some cheapies - thanks

Floppityflop · 26/09/2015 19:25

BabyGanoush, it was her, not him!

Floppityflop · 27/09/2015 10:28

I think these should do the trick:

I have a pair similar to those in the garage Flippity, think they need re-heeling. May dig them out later in the week and take them to town with me.

Floppityflop · 27/09/2015 10:36

lucysmam, that's the problem with spiky heels! I reckon they'll need re-heeling after about six weeks of walking around in them.

lucysmam · 27/09/2015 11:10

Mine tend to wear down fairly quickly. I find the toes on pointy boots needs some attention fairly quickly as well. But that could just be the way I walk.

The Aquatalia boots are great, very comfortable for heels, I bought the Royal shoe boots last year.
This year I'm impressed with Alice Temperley, but I've been too slow to snag the navy pair.

Had some nice Office Bramble chelsea boots but forgot them when I moved over the summer :( would recommend those

PinkGeranium · 27/09/2015 17:14

doc I have never spent the extra for aquatalia but am a huge r and b fan. have been thinking about the aquatalia Marc dry ankle shoe boot, but haven't tried it
on- it may be too high for me.

Thanks to an enabler helpful person on here, I've ordered some Urban boots from Valdeverde Polo Boots in Spain. Unfortunately I missed the made to order note in the English translation, and am waiting for delivery. But they are are a low heeled substitute for much loved TKMaxx boots that had to be kissed and committed to landfill, so waiting very excitedly for the delivery! Compared to the price of the same thing on Toast and the prospect of this week's Indian summer, I am being very patient.
