What boots are you all buying this year?

Mine are deader than a dead thing & the repairs they need will cost more than the boots did Sad

Inspire me, please!? What do you like? Or what have you bought? I haven't seen anything much I fancy yet but think it's because I'm constantly looking for something like I already have on my feet.

I got some Ugg biker-style recently. They're so comfy and warm, I love them. Got them off Shopaholics for a good price (signed up for newsletter for extra 15% off). They're lined all the way up.

These ones.

ScrambledSmegs · 23/09/2015 21:56

Shoeaholics. Autocorrect strikes again Hmm.

bookbook · 23/09/2015 22:13

My DD has just got these

ScarlettDarling · 23/09/2015 22:30

Bookbook, they're gorgeous!

op , I've just bought Doc Marten Viola boots which were recommended on another thread. I love them...not clumpy lace ups like usual DMs.

FatGirlWithChocolate · 23/09/2015 22:42

I bought a pair of black suede ankle boots from M and S, for wearing with dresses and jeans..wonderfully comfy they are..also got a cheap pair of knee high black fitted boots (fake suede) to wear with a posher type skirt from Sainsbury. They were ultra cheap, so won't last long but will do for the odd day out til I can fit into a better pair (on a diet, fed up of clunky boots for larger ladies like me..these are slim, fitted and feel quite foxy)

Dancergirl · 23/09/2015 22:45

I love boots, I have far too many already!

I have bought these two pairs and trying to decide between them. Pair 1 from Dune:

Or pair 2 from Boden:

I really like them both!

SomeDizzyWhore18O4 · 23/09/2015 22:47

I just bought these in Iron and they're gorgeous. So comfortable and they kept my feet lovely and dry in a downpour yesterday. Really sturdy soles, a bit like DMs. They feel really grippy too, I think they'll be great when it gets icy. And have you seen the price?! Bargain of the century! I also love the other Bruiser boots on Amazon - they have fur lined ones and lace up ones for the same price. I'm getting the black knitted fur lined ones next Smile

I have battered and mistreated my Hudson Horrigan's for just over a year and they look as good as new. I can't really justify buying new ones when the current ones are still in such good nick, but I'm havin lusty thoughts about their Quartz boots. Even my skinflint husband DH has conceded that they are totally worth the £150 (which is the most I have ever spent on shoes)

almapudden · 23/09/2015 22:57

I just bought these from Russell and Bromley

RomComPhooey · 23/09/2015 23:12

Well, thanks to whoever posted the TK Maxx link which set me on a separate search by my size, I now know where Duo have off-loaded all their clearance boots before rebranding. It doesn't give the calf size, mind, so ordering online would be a bit hit & miss.

Dancergirl · 24/09/2015 13:54

tigsy I've never heard of Frye before, are they an American company?

They've got some really lovely boots, not cheap though.

Dancergirl · 24/09/2015 14:07

I really like these:

Openup41 · 24/09/2015 17:27

None. I have three pairs from last year - mix of brown and black. They are in good condition.

Openup41 · 24/09/2015 17:30

Alma - £185 for ankle boots!

When I come onto these threads I realise how little I spend on myself.Grin

50shadesofmeh · 24/09/2015 17:48

i bought dr martens paschal boots a few weeks ago, they are a sort of black with a purple sheen, best boots I've ever worn.

50shadesofmeh · 24/09/2015 17:49

sorry pascal

I found brilliant Italian rain boots that don't look like rain boots from Mènghi - burgundy chelseas with a rusty brown sole and black chunky biker boots. Also love my black leather chelsea boots from Vagabond.

AnyoneButAndre · 24/09/2015 19:10

Mmm boooots!

But I have 5 perfectly functional pairs of knee high boots to cover all situations and at least 4 pairs of ankle boots. What I need is a pair for DD, who is a size 5 1/2 but will probably be size 6 1/2 by this time next year, and who will only be wearing them on the weekends and at school holidays anyway, so I need to prioritise price over longevity, and not spend 200 quid on fabulous quality leather which she'll grow out of instantly. Has anybody got any cheapo recommendations?. Bloody Gap haven't put their boots in their sale. Are there any M&S codes out there?

lucysmam · 24/09/2015 21:38

I'm still no closer to a bloomin' decision & the money is sat in the bank for me to get some!

I've just got from Next and not only are they supremely comfortable, they seem to match everything I've tried them on with so much so that I'm wondering if the black are too similar to my other buckled ankle boots to justify buying them too. Hmmm...

DavenotChas · 24/09/2015 21:43

DavenotChas · 24/09/2015 21:45

For goodness sake! They are next forever comfort strap biker boots.

Dancergirl · 24/09/2015 23:19

euphemia never bought from Moshalu before, what are their boots like?
