Boden icons, I am not getting it

Just looked at the Boden Icons collection, icons

I am really not getting it. It seems to have copied bits of M&S Spring/summer autograph collection, with a few sub-Zara military bits for four times the price. A couple of the coats look ok, but very expensive.

I was really interested to see what they would come up with, but this is a huge disappointment.

Boden has been retweeting all the bloggers threads. So far whatoliviadid, shinythoughts, dearestdeer, wishwishwish, iwantyoutoknow, fashionfoiegras, DMBL40 and I am sure there must be others!

Oh good god, that collection is terrible. Nothing I would wear even if you paid me, and I normally LOVE boden. Although there isn't much I like in the normal collection this season either. At least my bank balance is feeling more healthy.

Saw them coming

One of the awful skirts is marked as sold out - in all sizes. Surely not!

I quite like the idea of using the stripes and wonder if it is slimming, however it is very expensive.
I find it a bit annoying, Boden used to use good quality fabrics which is why I bought clothes from them but over the years the fabrics have gotten cheaper and they don't last. Now they have this fashion forward collection that supposedly is better quality when they used to have that quality to start with.
I miss the 100% cotton longsleeve tops with contrasting velvet trim in lots of lovely colours that would just wash and wash and stay pretty.
Still the stock levels make no sense check out the pictures below, stock seems to be going up not down!

I'm sorry but I think those at Boden are all high, their models are odd and the designs are grim. Nothing iconic about the icon range.
