Wearing mine today Autumn weather at last! Still really like it.

Amazed that it's too short for some people - my one reservation is that it veers a bit close to scary tunic length (but the weight of the fabric means it hangs nicely rather than droops). I can only assume the famous H&M random sizer has been on duty.

It is nowhere near tunic length, and I don't have a disproportionally long body. I am 5'7" and it reaches the top of my hip bone.

Well maybe not on you but it is on me. Admittedly I'm only 5'3 but yours sounds about 5 or 6 inches shorter tha mine. I'm shorter in the legs than I am in the torso so height difference alone doesn't explain it.

My point was that H&M sizing is notoriously random so it's worth people trying a few sizes on if they like it.

Argh why did I see this thread? I already own at least 6 stripey tops. My favourite being the Kate Middleton Breton from ME&EM which I got during the sale.

Do you think they're timeless or will we be looking back at photos in 20 years time honking why on Earth did we wear nothing but stripes?!

Friend at work came across a photo of herself of 20 years ago. She brought it in to show us. Stripey top, jeans, a belt. I kid you not. Stripe, jeans, belt. I think we might get another few years out of the stripe
