I got in H&M - really heavy and baggy onto the waist a bit like a sweatshirt

Well. Nothing would do but I had to call into H&M at lunchtime. I really don't need another stripe. Tried on this jumpsuit, as you do while looking for a stripe, quite nice.

And then I made my way to the checkout, stripey top in my grubby hands. It is a great weight, and I thought I might wear over a shirt in l'hiver. I only bought because it will be so phenomenally, incredibly useful for le winter.

As the owner of a mere 2 stripey tops, this had to be bought. I'm a 10 and bought small. Can I be Donatello? HHHIIIIYYYAAAAAAAA!

I'm afraid I weakened this morning too and bought the black striped one. I'm a 14 and dithered in the changing room with the M and L. Finally went for the L for its extra bum coverage. I wish they would do a red/cream version. It feels like great quality.

Ha ha, I was thinking of a lovely deep red and a definite cream. Seems like a very obvious choice to me but apparently not manufacturers.

I bought both yesterday then flipped over to Boden and bought another pair. 20% off, free delivery and returns. Most long lengths have gone though.

I only have 3 striped tops - but I do like a black background and white stripe.

Well, it was a massive fail for me

If you are tall and skinny with no boobs don't bother. It just looked like a shapeless sack on me, was too short and the sleeves were only just long enough - no doubt the sleeve length will shrink after the first wash. The neckline was too big as well.

At the ripe old age of 44, I have bought my first stripey top. I agree it's lovely quality for a cheapy! It dances in front of my eyes though I am hoping that once it's on that the stripes will stop moving.

I bought the black & white one, the navy and red was jigging about far too much.

Is it just me?

It isn't very long at all. I am 5'7" with small boobs and it reached to my hip bones.

I think the style will suit the more busty woman. It just looked like a shapeless sack on my skinny frame.

It's a shame because it was much better quality than most tops you see these days.
