A fine, blonde moustache.
It glistens in the sunshine.

How do I get rid of it?

I don't want to make it worse and it grows back dark, course and angry.

I'd rather an at home thing than a salon thing. I'd actually keep it if I had to go to a salon

I take your moutashe and raise you fluffy white side burns, I epilate. Hurts like bejesus but it does the job.

Yeah I was wondering that too. I just don't want to get short dark course stubble .
How do your sideburns grow back after you epilate?

Wax! It's easy to do at home, buy a pot of wax rather than ready made strips. I cut the material strips in to small squares. Doesn't hurt that much either.

The epistick is good for a fluffy 'tache. It won't grow in dark (if it wasn't dark before) or stubbly, it has the same effect as if you had waxed.

I tried an epi stick but it took ages and made my skin sore.

Now I get my upper lip threaded when I get my eyebrows done- about once every 3 weeks or so. The beautician who does it isn't the slightest bit phased and the regrowth is very fine.

Veet sensitive every couple of weeks. No pain and easy.

Presumably the regrowth comes through short and stubbly - and therefore possibly more noticeable than untouched tache?

That epi stick thing didn't work for me. I have a blond tache with a few dark ones mixed in and I've taken to waxing at home myself every couple weeks or so and its easier and effective and doesn't really hurt. I've been getting the upper lip wax strips though so wondering if I could just get a wax pot and cut strips as pp above me somewhere mentioned

Buy some sharp nail scissors and a magnifying mirror and carefully cut off the hair as close to the skin as you can. Do it in the strongest light you can (preferably natural light) so you can see all of the hairs.

I've used the epistick fairly successfully, but when I started getting my eyebrows threaded I surrendered my top lip and chin to the lovely woman who wields the cotton thread. Much better end result and well worth the short, sharp pain.

facial wax strips. practice on your legs before you do your face, there's a knack to it.

I just shave mine. I've tried waxing and veet-both brought me out in a rash, I've tried plucking and that was painful and fiddly. I just run the razor over it every night while I'm washing my face-i haven't turned into Kevin Webster yet!

I shave it now. It's quick and easy, and painless! I just buy cheap mens razors from Superdrug. (Not the womens ones where you pay extra because they're pink!)

I noticed a budding moustache over twenty years ago. Just a few hairs, but dark. Went to a beautician and had a course of electrolysis over a few months - every week at first, but as the hairs weakened and took longer to return, less frequently. All gone.

I now have two dark strong hairs making a reappearance, but it's taken over twenty years for that to happen. I pluck them; if any more start up I'll have electrolysis again.

Swipe of Veet, 4 minutes, wipe off then wash face.

I used to get mine waxed but it was causing spider veins so now I tweeze the darkest ones and ignore the rest. Everyone has upper lip hair, mine mostly isn't dark and I decided life is too short to waste energy hating it! also I am very lazy

The epilator doesn't make it come back any different, still like down. Because it re grows from the root it isn't stubbly. It's not like a Santa beard honestly! I notice it a lot in strong light and when putting on makeup though so others must be able to see it.

I was under the impression that electrolysis only works on dark hairs, is that no longer the case WhereYouLeftIt? I haven't looked into it for years but would love to get rid of mine for the next 20 years.

Epistick for me and I love it. I have tried waxing and threading but found I would be moustache free for around a week to 10 days and then it would grow back in until my next appointment came around. The epistick means I can keep on top of it myself (although it's not perfect - I do occasionally catch myself in the right light and realise I have missed a few stragglers).

CainInThePunting, I think the treatment that only works on dark hairs is something to do with intense light pulses? Electrolysis is a tiny needle inserted into the hair root and an electric current passed through it. This weakens the root until it eventually dies. The colour of the hair doesn't matter, although I imagine it's easier for the beautician to see (and so accurately target with the needle) if the hair/root is dark rather than fair.

It was money well spent!

I'd recommend threading. Def works. And no stubbly regrowth.

I get mine waxed, every time I used facial hair remover it burned the skin. I found bleaching worked for me too.
