How old is too old for shorts?

Am going on hols somewhere hot. Was considering buying shorts then had a crisis of confidence. Am I too old? My legs are fine, but I just wondered if there was an unwritten rule which i wasn't aware of....
Thoughts? Am I being paranoid?

Never too old for shorts. If you're concerned get longer ones not hot pants style.

Your going on holiday. You will by no means be the oldest with shorts on.

depends on the length of the shorts and if you have saggy thighs or not surely?

I have some nice knee length denim shorts from Monsoon that look OK I think.

If they are very short, they should at least look like you've had them since you were young.

There was a woman in sainsbury's yesterday in her tennis gear - teeny skirt. She looked amazing - beautiful smooth skin, not stick thin, healthy and fantastic.

I think she was probably about 60.

Shorts wearing has nothing to do with age :)

How old is too old? Dead. Dead is too old and you are a long time dead, so while you are not wear whatever makes you happy and give not one fuck what anyone else might think, that would be my advice

My 69 year old MIL looks great in shorts. I haven't looked good in them since I was about 16 so I tend to wear skirts in summer.

My 65 year old mil wears them a lot, she looks fine in them

Looking good in shorts has less to do with what age you are and more to do with finding the right pair of shorts for your shape (which can be tricky). When you find the right pair I suggest getting a few pairs. They are even harder to shop for than jeans.

These days many women have great legs and there is no age limit - my MIL and my aunts are in their mid-seventies and they still look awesome in shorts

Never to old for shorts in hot weather. I bought my first pair in forever last week, only to wear on holiday mind I will wear skirts and dresses back in the UK.

OP if you have shorts and the shorts fit you and you enjoy wearing them (either because you feel good in them or they are just damn comfortable) then wear the shorts!

I can't wear shorts (flabby knees) but MIL does and she is in her 60s.

I live in Florida where the concept of being too old to wear shorts is very alien. My 91 year old aunt wears shorts.

I bought some denim knee length ones from Next tall, I'm 5'10" and they are just the right length. I'm 57, I don't like shorter shorts as my legs aren't that good, if they were I would wear them.

I honestly have never seen anyone look good in shorts so I think about 8 years old would be the limit.
