Long sports leggings / trousers

I need some not full length sports trousers / gym pants
not tights - no "fashion" cuffs at the bottom - no yoga foldovers at the top - in Long
oh not made of jersy so the go out of shape...

and not half hearted long - but actually long 35" inside leg
I thought this was a basic...but I cant find anything

Have you tried DW sports, sweaty Betty, a proper running shop - the ones which sell trainers which you can run in rather than pose?

Ok - what do you want them for? Running? Or something lower impact like yoga?

Sweaty Betty are too short and our only local running shop had nothing that wasn't tights and too short...tights just descend when they are too short..and I have a strapped up ankle which speeds up the effect

And I can't justify the lululemon ones ..oh well , looks like "this girl can, but only if she shrinks a bit..." Maybe I,ll buy some brightly coloured strapping for my leg and just wear shorts...it'll be a bit of a horror show - but what the hell

Last year TK Maxx had Runhill running leggings, full and 3/4 length ones. Even though I'm short, I thought the long ones are very long. Proper thick stretchy non-see through material, with tie cords inside to keep them up.

I've been looking for 15 years now. Many years ago M&S used to a brand called 'View-From'. They came in short, regular, long and extra-long. Extra-long was 36in. I had some. I've been looking ever since. View-From brand can be found by googling, but they no longer seem to make anything above 32in.

Sorry but I am confused, in the OP you say you don't want full length but then talk about some being too short.
So you want loose fitting bottoms that are suitable for running, that are cropped but not too short? How tall are you?

I don't really know what you're after I'm afraid. When you say full length running bottoms but not tights, did you have something more loose fitting in mind? As I can't see those working over any sort of distance?
What do you mean by tights "descend"? Mine are all tie-waist ones and certainly never fall down. I have ron hill, decathlon, Gore, Freya...Have tried most of them out there and don't know what you mean by "descend"?

ERM..when they grip too tightly around your calf the waistband fails to stay in place and you end up either constantly pulling at them ..or with your arse hanginging out.and a penguin crotch...its like wearing tights that are too short...I appreciate that something that flaps around would be poor...
I feel I'm rather having to defend myself here..whereas I posted assuming that there would be taller women on here...
And that there would be at least one company making longer sports gear for women...I am only 5' 11" . a 35" inside leg does not make me a mutant..
I guess its just something I've avoided buy wearing shorter / cropped gear.

Not sure why you're annoyed.
If I were you I'd start with the absolute classic of running tights - the Ron hill trackster. They're technically men's but it doesn't make a difference.
Usuually less than £20, comfortable, light, and the tie-waist means they don't fall down.

If you've only had running tights that grip your calves or fall down, I think you've only had crappy running tights! A decent pair of Ron Hills will do none of those things and are fit for any terrain.

They are, however, not stylish, despite the fact that just about every serious runner has a pair.

And these are very similar capris, though cheaper. I ran a marathon on mountain trails in these and they were comfortable and in place the whole time, so anything less than that and you'll be fine!

I find gap long and they do tall, but not in their sports stuff something like this might work for you?

I always run in Nike epic fit running tights. Nothing else stays up as well. I'm short as anything but have pretty long turnups at the bottom due to this - and it seems that its the falling down factor that bothers you about the length rather than the length itself. I put my phone in the back pocket with music and that's quite a weight and still doesn't drag them down.

You say you have tried the supermarkets, but I got mine from Tesco and they are really good. they are dark grey, fitted at the top, but normal leg rather than super tight, come up quite high with no foldover bit. I'm really pleased with them. They stay up and don't feel like I need a skirt over the top!

Try crewroom.biz - they cater for rowers (ie tall people) but also now do running stuff?
