Asian and Korean skincare products seem to be a big thing right now - we are falling in love with quite a few things...

At last...all my goodies have arrived. It took exactly the same length of time for my order to arrive from Missha.de as it did for my order from Korea. So only 11 days from Korea, but too long from Germany which is the country next door!

I've also got the Caudalie SOS hydrating serum which I've heard so many good things about.

I'm feeling really happy.

lucysmam · 13/06/2015 09:46

I have also found...pet sunscreen sprays...sure that cat would stand still while I sprayed his ears with that Hmm

lucysmam · 13/06/2015 09:47

ooh, brittany, what did you get?

NewsreaderChic · 13/06/2015 10:08

My Missha EE order has just arrived with a Konjac sponge and still a big sample pack, I ordered about a week ago so any Missha stuff I'll order from them in future.

I've got Perfect cover BB samples in No 23 and 27 that I know are the wrong colour for me, so if anyone wants them to try I'll happily post to you.

brittanyfairies · 13/06/2015 10:22

From Missha.de I got the Super Aqua Cell Renewal Skin Treatment because I liked that in the trial pack I bought. I also got a pomegranate sleeping mask - because it was cheap, and two hyaluronic sheet masks - so guess what I'll be doing tonight. I got a few samples but they're all pretty much the same samples as I received last time from them.

From Korea I got those collagen eye masks that you linked to Lucysmam because I figured at 99p it was worth a shot - no samples from them though. I've decided the samples are more fun than the stuff you buy.

Then I got the Caudalie SOS serum and a little bag of rehydrating goodies with that.

I had no sleep last night as my computer died and I had to do a full factory reset on it. I need it for work, so I was up all night worrying about it and trying to reset it for the work I need to redo today. It's my only free day without DCs as XH is really shit at coming to see them. So tonight I'm planning lying on my sofa from about 6.00 with wine, chocolate and Orange Is The New Black with sheet masks, rehydrating serum, sleep masks the works! Work can wait until tomorrow.

ScrambledSmegs · 13/06/2015 10:23

LRP is on offer in larger boots stores at the moment, lucysmam. Have to say I don't get on v well with Antheliosas as I have quite oily skin, but I am using it up now. Will probably get the Heliocare gel or foam for holiday.

lucysmam · 13/06/2015 10:42

Your evening sounds fun brittany, I have the same sort of thing planned for tomorrow (need to sew tonight...really need to sew!). The collagen eye masks I got didn't come with samples either but they were interesting for the 99p...I'm still baffled by the way they dissolve away.

Thanks Scrambled, it was the mist/spray I was looking for to use through the day over make up. If it's quite heavy/oily though it might not be so good for that. Do they have testers of sunscreens to try out? Hmm probably not. I'll nip and have a look next Friday before ordering anything online. (after all this, I may just go with the Missha, the packaging is v. pretty Grin )

NewsreaderChic · 13/06/2015 11:23

Lucysmam let me know how you get on with your mist search. As you know I got the wrong Missha one, but the can is light as a feather so I don't think there's much product in there for £10 which is why I haven't bothered buying the right one. The packaging is very nice though.

lucysmam · 13/06/2015 11:30

I'll keep posting as I find News, have had to stop for the mo to tidy up. The girls have friends coming to play so am hiding things I don't want fiddled with (bike bits and sewing stuff mainly).

AmazingDisgrace · 13/06/2015 11:44

Cheers Frugal, ok I'll take one for the team and order the starfish eye cream and report back

lucysmam · 13/06/2015 12:06

Hmmmm, I'm struggling to find reviews of the Kose Fasio sunscreen mist I linked Confused

I'll try again later on this evening if I get chance.

bigbuttons · 13/06/2015 13:46

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been keeping up with this. I've been feeling a tad under the weather. Turns out I have pneumoniaShock so now I have an excuse to sit on the sofa and do nothing but research more things to buyWink

PoppyAmex · 13/06/2015 14:14

Just received a parcel from Missha.ee and I can't believe the sheer amount of samples they sent, including what I'd call "deluxe travel sample sizes"!

I took Frugal's advice and used Missha.ee rather than the German site and it was totally worth it; very generous!

Might take a picture of the whole thing and post here tonight.

ScrambledSmegs · 13/06/2015 14:21

Oh no! Bigbuttons I hope you feel better soon. Such a rotten thing to have Flowers Brew Cake

Lucysmam - the spray does sound good, I've not seen it before! Let us know what it's like please?

lucysmam · 13/06/2015 15:58

oh no Bigbuttons, that's rubbish Sad Hope you're on the mend soon Thanks

Scrambled I have posted on reddit to see if anyone has any experience of it. Am tempted to try it but wouldn't mind knowing if it's particularly greasy before I buy. I'll link if (when Grin ) I get some replies on there Smile

FrugalFashionista · 13/06/2015 16:16

I am absolutely loving the parcels! Every time someone receives one it feels like I got something too Wink Poppy send us pictures!

Brittany I love the Missha treatment too. Sorry about your computer - I have mine backed up remotely now because I had some really scary situations in the past. My IT geek brother once helped me to resuscitate a work laptop, we used a bag of frozen peas to protect the motherboard from a literal meltdown, the fan was broken Your evening sounds fab, I love OITNB and am planning something similar.

I noticed that Missha now do a light AHA toner, the Time Revolution Clear toner. Has anyone received a sample?

Amazing really interested in hearing about the Mizon starfish eye cream!

Sending Buttons CakeWine[tea], take your pick Wink

Ooh, Poppy yes please put up a photo of your haul! Where's Missha.ee based? I don't recognise that domain suffix. And I haven't bought anything from Missha yet, what are their 'must have' products?

Sorry, am getting a bit interrogatory with excitement at everyone's purchases!

FrugalFashionista · 13/06/2015 16:39

Scrambled, Estonia. I love Estonia, I go there every summer, Tallinn is picture perfect.

I'm more familiar with Missha than most other Korean brands because EU-based parcels are not stopped by Italian customs. I like their sunscreens, BB creams and cushion, Missha Super Aqua snail treatment, gel cream and sleeping mask (strong cucumber smell), and the Time Revolution Borabit ampoule. I also use the First Treatment Essence every morning but too early to tell whether it is just glorified sake water. Their basic sheet masks are not the best out there, although some of the more expensive ones seem really good. They have been very generous with samples so there are many products that I haven't tried yet.

queensansastark · 13/06/2015 17:03

Hello, late to the thread sorry.

Anyone tried any of the bee venom creams from Korea?

What do you think?

ScrambledSmegs · 13/06/2015 17:06

Oh, yes I've got friends from Estonia . Always wanted to go to Tallinn but the british stag weekend reputation put me off for years. Daft really. After all I've been to Amsterdam and it's lovely! Tallinn's on my list of 'must visits' along with Budapest, Borneo (before they totally destroy their rainforest Sad), Rio de Janeiro and now Seoul.

brittanyfairies · 13/06/2015 17:31

Ooh Frugal I've got the Time Revolution Clear Toner in today's box of samples and also the First Treatment Essence - so I'll give them a go over in the next couple of days.

The Missha super aqual cell renewal snail skin treatment comes in a nice pump action bottle so it's much easier to get at than the sample size - and it's a really heavy hefty bottle, I reckon it will last for ages.

bigbuttons · 13/06/2015 17:43

Thank you so much for you kind messagesSmile and frugal ! thank you once again! I can't wait.
I have spent some of today researching and looking at reviews of sulawhasoo products. I remember someone here loved the sleep mask on the other thread. I decided to get the Time treasures renovating eye Cream and ginseng renewing face cream as samples on eBay. Got 70 ml in total for £24 which isn't bad especially considering how much proper bottles cost!x

FallenAngel22 · 13/06/2015 18:21

My first package came today! My beauty diary hylauranic sheet masks. Just tried it now and wow!! I'm really impressed, my skin feels lovely and moisturised and definitely plumper and brighter. I keep looking at myself in the mirror Grin
