Sorry Shadows - crossed you. Some people could do DMs and fishnets - but it might look like fancy dress if it's not one's habitual costume.

Dh has agreed to buy it for my birthday but had added 'it's just not a natural thing to wear. A cape.'

When I was 19 I used to wear a floor length black velvet cape. I miss it so much, but at 45 and a stone and a half heavier, I'd look v silly.

Oh Remus. Those were the days. I feel sorry for dd and her mates, all matchy matchy.

I've bought the DMs at 45. They are purple and lovely.

Loved the Scottish Widows ad too. I had a floaty golden cloak with a hood for my wedding.

Dh just ordered it for my birthday and got 25% off. I shall insist on inviting dd and dm out for the evening. If we walk into danger I shall be prepared.
Worryingly dh also suggested accessories.
