Do you use a shower scrunchie?

Or just your hands. Or something else? I bet you can make your own scrunchie can you?

Just hands for me. Those scrunchies look really scratchy. You could probably make one out of the netting you make tutus out of.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 17/05/2015 13:19

Hands here, DD bought a scrunchy recently and I tried it yesterday, it felt weird and not very effective. If I need sonething a bit more scrubby I use a loofah mitt, but not for everyday.

HelenF350 · 17/05/2015 13:22

Exfoliating gloves

wigglylines · 17/05/2015 13:22

I can't stand scrunchies! I don't understand why anyone uses them. They feel so artificial and not like they actually work.

I'd rather use hands, a flannel or a sponge.

nothruroad · 17/05/2015 13:24

I use a scrunchie and love it. I can't stand using my hands and always feel like I'm not as clean if I do. I like a good scrub!

VixxFace · 17/05/2015 13:26

exfoliating gloves as well.

Sgtmajormummy · 17/05/2015 13:27

I use a scrunchy for scaly upper arms and general soft exfoliating. I like them because they foam up and keep the shower gel for a long time without pooling afterwards like a sponge would.
Dd plays with it too.
Have you seen those "man washers"? What would they specifically be used for? EEEEEEWWWWW!

Gem124 · 17/05/2015 13:29

I use a sponge that's got an exfolitor on one side

DinosaursStillExist · 17/05/2015 13:32

Yes, it makes my shower gel go further and I feel cleaner than if I use hands only

noddyholder · 17/05/2015 13:33

Just the gloves

CaTsMaMmA · 17/05/2015 13:33

I have a scrubby....a string affair over what seems to be a bit of sponge from some old sofa. but it's abrasive enough without being burny-scratchy and foams up nicely

I give the upperarms, scrotum effect elbows, knees, shins and elephant ankles a good going over. Gosh I am such a catch!

It's also very satisfying if my hives are wild....really satisfying at itching the little bastards. Aaaahhhhhh!

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 17/05/2015 13:35

You mean those little bunched up net things? Thought you meant tying your hair up in the shower from the title!

Don't like those net things, they feel weird. I tend to have a have a few nice body scrubs on the go though and a sisal exfoliating mitt for elbows/knees and this weird dry patch I get in the middle of my back!

cardoon · 17/05/2015 13:36

These are the best Badger

chanie44 · 17/05/2015 13:38

I have a scrunchie and I like using them. They gently exfoliate and make the shower gel go much further.

randomhouse · 17/05/2015 13:39

I use one about once a fortnight, too abrasive for every day but good for exfoliating and easier than using shower scrubs. Probably should use it once a week but I'm too lazy. The best scrubbing thing I've used is a Japanese thing a friend brought back from holiday but it fell apart.

PutWittyUsernameHere · 17/05/2015 13:42

I use shower scrunchies, as they make the shower gel go much further, and are nicely exfoliating. Some are better than others; a lot of the cheap ones are too scratchy and don't have enough layers to hold on to the gel. I don't like just using my hands as the shower gel disappears within three seconds, flannels are only a little better than bare hands, I hate the feeling of sponges, and exfoliating mitts just feel like wearing a wet glove (which is true, but I don't like how it feels).

I have a couple on rotation, and throw them in the wash every few days so they don't go manky.

DressingGownFrown · 17/05/2015 13:48

If you use your hands, how do you wash your bum and fanj? Do you just get all up in there? Confused

BadgersArse · 17/05/2015 13:49

It definitely does make it go further and the scent last longer on your body

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 17/05/2015 13:49

Shower scrunchie, lovely and soft, not scratchy at all.

BadgersArse · 17/05/2015 13:50

cuntyMcCunterson · 17/05/2015 13:51

Exfoliating gloves. And agree with PP that the soap and glory ones are the best out there.

NorbertDentressangle · 17/05/2015 13:51

I use one (but we call them puffles) - it's great as the shower gel lathers really well despite it being very hard water here and it exfoliates really well without being too harsh.
