because I'm bloody 33, and pregnant, and they're in my fringe which I now can't dye for 4 months Hmm

OP posts:
museumum · 16/05/2015 11:40

None yet at 38 but I'm blonde. My mum went imperceptibly grey from blonde through Her 50s.
I am old in other ways though :(

frikadela01 · 16/05/2015 11:47

I think the most shoving thing was when I found one the length of my elbow length hair.... how it got that long before I noticed is beyond me

suze28 · 16/05/2015 11:52

I was 39 and absolutely mortified! I have highlighted hair so they aren't noticeable but I know they're still there.

AmelieinOz · 16/05/2015 11:56

I've always had grey hair. Probably teenager?

TheFallenMadonna · 16/05/2015 11:58

Teenager. Completely grey by early twenties. Had my hair dyed during my pregnancies.

HappyGirlNow · 16/05/2015 13:00

I'm 42 and none yet.. My hair type (not style! Grin ) is almost identical to my dad's and he's in his sixties and his hair is mostly still brown with only a few greys. So fingers crossed!

mayaknew · 16/05/2015 13:02

22 . I'm 29 now and I have grey streaks right round my whole hair line . I was pregnant when I was 25 there was no way I wasn't dying my hair Grin

Scottishmumofgirls · 16/05/2015 13:02

Theoldcauliflower · 16/05/2015 13:09

Yesterday im 33Sad

cuntyMcCunterson · 16/05/2015 13:21

I was 18, and I plucked the damn thing straight out, I'd be bald if I still tried that!
If you can't dye your hair when pregnant I'm not having kids >kidding

suzannecanthecan · 16/05/2015 14:08

late 30's
I cant wait for it to all turn white, white hair grows faster and has better texture and I really want the long thick sliver hair
but I dont know if it actually will all turn Confused

CMOTDibbler · 16/05/2015 14:16

In my teens. By 28 I had so much grey that semi permanent colour didn't cover it, but then jacked in the dye at 38. At 42 I'm totally white at the front, and mostly grey elsewhere.

Trills · 16/05/2015 14:20
  1. It was my mum's birthday. She didn't think that was good news to get on her birthday.
MissisBee · 16/05/2015 14:27
  1. Have been dyeing it since early-mid 20s. If it had started later, I probably wouldn't dye it.
WestEast · 16/05/2015 14:27
  1. I'm 30 now and when I let my roots grow out a bit I'm now about 60% grey.
CoconutAmericano · 16/05/2015 15:32
  1. That was two years ago and im still deciding whether to ignore them or begin highlighting my hair so the blend in
westcountrywoman · 16/05/2015 21:42

I was 23.

Mintyy · 16/05/2015 21:45

31, just before my wedding.

I am now 52 and am going grey very slowly. I am still less than 5% grey.

Only1scoop · 16/05/2015 21:45

37

BeatieBo · 16/05/2015 21:48

I was in my teens. My nine year old daughter has some and even has a few grey eyelashes!

cleanasawhistle · 16/05/2015 21:52

40....don't have to worry about them at the moment lol

Wafflenose · 16/05/2015 21:53

I am encouraged by the fact that some of you started going grey years ago and still don't have many. I found my first one 4 years ago when I was 34 and now have about a dozen at the front, which I pull out (goodness knows if I have any at the back!).

Mum says I had a couple from the age of 4, but I've never seen them. Presumably they're somewhere that I can't see, and presumably they're still there.

SignoraStronza · 16/05/2015 21:55

36, just after dc3. I spotted it, alerted dh to confirm, he plucked it out and we both agreed to pretend it never happened.Grin No more so far.

elQuintoConyo · 16/05/2015 22:02

Eighteen. I have just turned forty and have just decided to stop dying it - can't be arsed anymore, truth be told. I'll be around 90-95% white/light grey.

Very scared but ready to feel liberated Grin

Drowsybutawake · 16/05/2015 22:04

13! And nobody will believe me I'm sure but we found one on my six month old baby the other day, but sure that was a fluke. 35 now and more grey than not Hmm
