What to wear to romantic wedding in Italy?

Hello everyone

My best friend is getting married in august. The wedding is in Italy, beautiful romantic Italy. It will be hot!

I want to find something really special to wear.

I'm 5.2, size 14. I have an hourglass figure. Big bust (30HH) small waist and big hips. I have olive skin.

I'd prefer a dress, as the clean lines look better on me. I don't like my legs so something to the knee, or a maxi dress would be nice. Willing to spend up to £100. Will also need advice on shoes please!

Thank you in advance for any replies. I did go shopping yesterday but can't see anything special. I know it's a way off but I'd like to buy something soon while the money is in the bank . Plus I'm mega excited about it

On the mozzie front, Avon skin so soft is the dogs bollocks for warding them off. Doubles up as moisturising as well. And no perfume (annoying but necessary).

Free, someone else said that to me about the Avon moisturiser. Will have to get some. Thanks for reminding me.

Yes, my mum bought me the Avon moisturiser for the mozzies - haven't needed to it yet though! I hope it works!

With a shrug and wedges, a floppy hat, and I'll probably replace the tie belt with a narrow leather one. Going for cool comfort so I'm not a bring pink 'scot abroad' in the photos

Will I not need to cover my shoulders in church though? Assuming I will but don't actually know so grateful for any advice

wildone you are best to cover your shoulders inside a church but a flimsy material scarf would do the job rather than a shrug.

Um is this your kind of style? You would need a crossover type bra, unless you would wear a strapless bra...
