What would you wear with a pink skirt?

I bought this on a bit of a whim for two christenings and a First Holy Communion this summer.

I'm a size 8, dark haired but pale.

You sound my shape and colouring but I'm not sure how I'd wear the skirt. You have to be careful not to look like a granny! I'm thinking some sort of ballet wrap type cardigan might work but I'm not sure

I'd probably go for a boat necked or slash necked white top and some funky jewellery, I think.

Yes, I think it has to be white too. Oasis had a pink floral blouse which I was pondering but I don't think the texture of the skirt would go with it

The fabric is gorgeous but perhaps the neck is too high for you.

There's lots of pink and black on Pinterest, but I'm wary of veering into Pink Lady/ Grease territory...

The pure collection top in grey would be good. Pink and grey would mean you wouldn't look as if you'd escaped from a ballet school, and not as Grease-tastic as black and pink. Pale pink and pale grey is a lovely combination. A simple silk t shirt tucked in will look elegant and modern.

Another vote for black - nothing wrong with looking like a Pink Lady!

I'd go black for events, what the first reply said (sorry on app can't see who it was) but black not white. Especially with dark hair.

Grey or navy would be lovely for work or more informal stuff, a grey cotton tee tucked in with silver flats, or hasbeen type sandals.

I would try cream with pink it works better than white.

Aqua blue - I like the idea of a boat neck top. Metallic pumps.

I'm currently wearing a pale grey, croppedish, belted cardigan which would look lovely with that, quite tempted to buy actually.

I have one like that and wear it with black and grey sweaters and heels/uggs.
