70's style denim button through skirt - anyone else?

I love 70's style and snapped up a button through denim skirt that fits perfectly a couple of weeks ago. All good, but everytime I go to wear it I'm stumped. I'm worried about it looking a bit frumpy (am in 40's) and not sure about wearing it with tights, what would I wear on my feet? In the summer I'd wear it with wedges, converse etc, but not sure which way to go now. Any ideas?

i have had one Like This for a couple of years

bought it for pennies in a charity shop BNWT and it is per una....but i cut out the label just in case i got run over.

Thats a lovely faux suede skirt. The front split is nice imo. It doesnt seem to go to high. A bit sassy!!

Now that's interesting. The denim skirt is back in stock in an 8, but the pictures look different - not as A-line. I follwed the link above so shouldn't be a different skirt.

I've ordered the faux suede skirt and it's arriving tomorrow so I'll let you know what it is like.

The denim skirt is in stock in a size 12 at the moment so I have just ordered it.

OK, the faux suede version:

• hemline badly uneven
• not A line enough in appearance (the fabric is so soft it doesn't presetn the A line shape iyswim)

Oh dear Fifty! Mine is arriving at lunchtime so I'll see what it is like then! Hopefully I'll have more luck with the denim skirt as the reviews are good for that one.

The skirt arrived and is going back! The hemline was even and it fitted very well but it was just a bit odd looking.
