Yes to setting spray. I love the Urban Decay one but I've used the MUA one too. It's also good for getting rid of a powdery finish.
I also find a layer of moisturiser, then powder, then foundation and powder again works. Sounds like it'll be a cakey mess but it really isn't.

I have tried Smashbox, Bare Minerals, Mac, Lanacane and Clinique. This week my Mac primer ran out and as I don't get paid until Friday I bought Rimmel Stay Matte. Two days of use and I rate it the best I've used. It's even cheaper than Lanacane Grin
