Love flares!! I am a size 12, 5ft 8. Very skinny legs but biggish hips (compared to the skinniness of my legs) so flares really suit me. I was told they're great for big hips and they really are.

I bought a couple of pairs from Next about 3-4 years ago and still love them now. Next are now doing some in their Spring catalogue so I've ordered 2 pairs.

The link near the top of the thread (M&S) don't look like flares at all!! In fact they look like slim jeans - flares should have a bell-bottom shape!!

I will be flaring with gay abandon come summer (not before because always seem to get the bottoms wet and muddy in hideous weather). I love it when they're "in" because they're so much easier to get hold of, like in Next, where the jeans fit me well.

What's the difference between bootcut and flares then?

I think it's just a width thing. Bootcut are slightly flared so as to go over boots, but flares are much wider at the bottom for appearance rather than practical reasons.

I am loving this revival and the higher waist lines than the circa 2000 trend. I worked out that I bought my first pair of skinny jeans almost 15 years ago, it's time for a change.

I am investing in a pair of swedish hasbeen sandals to complete the 70s look this summer. I'm struggling to find the right length and shape flares at the moment.

Yaay, love them with chunky tan boots and then wedge sandals for summer. I am short and curvy and whilst I can do skinny,flared balance my figure out better

I would love a pair to wear with tan wedge sandals this summer. I'm only 5ft - anyone seen some petite fit ones?
