What makeup do you use daily?

Just that really.

Just had a baby and I am planning on stepping it up a little so I don’t look so haggard all the time! Today I bought some new makeup as a treat and to inspire me in my efforts. I bought:

I need to buy a new foundation (thinking Chanel vitalumiere aqua) but I need to finish up the one I am currently using first (YSL).

Also planning on doing my nails more often - normally I just do a coat of OPI Start to finish clear polish and I colour on my toes (normally a red or grey). I find my nails hard to keep up and I hate the look of chipped polish on fingers so I rarely use colour on them but today I bought:
Essie: Chinchilly
Barry M: Mushroom
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy: No colour name on bottle but its a light pink.

Elizabeth Arden foundation. Eye shadow liquid eyeliner, mascara.
Lip stick and nail varnish.

Benetint on cheeks, benebalm on lips, 2000 Calorie mascara, eyebrow pencil

Occasionally Vaseline on apples of cheeks & outer eye socket for a bit of a "glow"

Because I'm super classy...

Maybelline foundation. It's liquid. Stay matte or something.

Collection 2000 bronzer.

Barry m eye liner

Loreal mascara.

I'm not for brands (tho always get the same foundation) I just get what looks good or is on offer...

mac prep n prime either with or without spf 50
Chanel les beiges healthy glow or Armani Luminous silk foundation or a bit of both mixed together.
Touch eclat for under eyes
Bobbi Brown powder blush in Slopes or Desert Pink
Bobbi Brown eyebrow pencil in mahogany
Lancome lip pencil
Bobbi Brown creamy lipstick in UberPink - the perfect mlbb for me and the only lipstick I have repeat bought.
No mascara as I have dark lashes.

Chanel les beiges glow fluid
Mac blusher
Chanel dark brown eyeshadow as an eye liner & eyebrow filler using a thin Mac brush.
Not cheap but only need a little and lasts a long time.
Invest in good brushes, makes all the difference

I'm about to scare myself here, toting up the cost of my "basic" make-up:-

NARS Sheer Glow foundation (meh, don't get the big deal with this, although they're launching their own version of the YSL Fusion Ink in a few weeks that I'm obviously going to have to try)
NARS creamy concealer in Vanilla (very good coverage)
MAC Mineralise Skinfinish powder (love this, it matifies and makes your skin look wonderfully glowy)
NARS blusher in Orgasm or Douceur (love these- be still my beating heart)
Benefit Browzings or their brow gel (there are cheaper versions of both but these are the business)
MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre (I use this as an eyeshadow primer, brilliant and lasts forever)
NARS eyeshadow duo in Kalahari (cute sizes and lovely colours, brilliant for travelling)
NARS eyeliner in Nightclubbing (slips on easily and stays put, even on the water line)
YSL Shocking Mascara (pretty good but not sure it's worth £25)

Finished off with a MAC or Lipstick Queen lippy- currently loving Lipstick Queen's Medieval which is more like a sheer balm.

I'm crap at doing my nails, hate seeing chips especially with dark colours. Usually go for a DIY French mani with Essie Muchi Muchi and Blanc, if anything. On my toesies I use Nails Inc Gel Effect or the Barry M equivalent. The latter are very good value, especially in 'fashion' colours you know you won't get a pile of use out of.

I don't wear make-up on work days . Combination of laziness and I'm face-to-face, I'd worry about smudging or lipstick on my teeth. (Don't have time to scratch my bum most days let alone repair make-up)

On my non-work days I wear Benefits They're Real or one of the No7 mascaras in my advent calender.
Eyebrow pencil (Benefit or ybf)

Lipbalm/gloss for comfort rather than colour.

My New Year Work Resolution could be to put a bit of face on though?

Sometimes "brave" mac lipstick which is close to my natural colour, or a benefit clear lipgloss, or a rimmell lip crayon which is similar to the Clinique chubby sticks. (Again similar to my own lip colour).
