How many coats do you own?

I was clearing out and mine are

1. Full length smart wool coat
2. Full length Landsend Chalet Coat for playground duty!
3. Short waterproof dog walking jacket with detachable fleece liner
4. Summer waterproof jacket
5. Short smart wool "car coat" plus numerous scruffy fleeces.

I'm pondering whether I can justify another winter coat!

all bought in the last two years, don't get me started on the amount of jackets i have bought

I fancy a trench-coat or full length smart raincoat! Preferably in a really bright colour. All the ones mentioned above are either black or dark blue.

Loads. I buy one big expensive one every autumn, plus miscellaneous stuff in between - especially rainwear. I like fun and funky rainwear.

7 coats, 6 jackets. I need to weed some out.

I am goldilocks, too big too small... I want one that is just right

I think I have found it. I expect I'll now wear it until destruction

I think my conclusion is yes, I can justify another one - now to find it!

Coats, shoes and handbags are my downfall. so I picked the cheap stuff, obvs.

8 coats, 2 jackets but they vary in sizes I've gone from slim to huge to working my way back to slim.

Am coveting a black peacoat at the moment and a cream winter coat.

None. Just layer up and wear a fleece if it's cold. Coats are stupidly expensive

I have two winter coats, a spring/summer trench coat and a kagoule

Oh my goodness. Is it normal to have loads of coats? I've got 2. My regular one is a North Face Arctic parka, and the other one is a smart wool coat which I wear if I'm going someplace nice. If you include a very thin waterproof which I wear for cycling in Spring/Autumn, then I've got 3.

I'm wondering what a car coat is, whether I need one and why I don't already have one....

Not that I'm being disloyal to my present one and only...
