I cannot tell Blush

Clarks

I've been eyeing them up since the beginning of the season, now they are reduced and I can still not decide whether they are quite cool (can Clarks shoes ever be cool?) or totally naff.

Help and guidance please!

I wear clarkes. Not my style, but I think they are nice.

Wear what u want.

OHolyShite · 09/12/2014 22:09

Hideous.

Looks like a drag queen's eyelash on the front.

Twinklestein · 09/12/2014 22:11

Even by Clark's standards they are vile. You could get something much nicer in the sales than that.

Somewhere in between, I'd say, but I find shoes hard to judge properly from pictures. I like the tasselly bits. Have you tried them on or would you be taking an internet punt?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/12/2014 22:12

Not nice. I do like some Clarks shoes, but not those.

Riverland · 09/12/2014 22:15

They are good clunky shoes in the style of the 70's .. Only problem with fringes like that is that they go curly and tatty quicker than you might like.

The are good shoes though. Go well with Cos type clothing.

SofaCanary · 09/12/2014 22:15

Oh my goodness, they're howlers Shock

Okaaay, then, that helps focus the mind.

I may still need to go and see them in the flesh.

I am not sure what it is that draws me to them - I may require counselling.

Riverland, Cos is what I aspire to wearing Grin

Yes wear what you want as long as it's not those

BuddyKringleberry · 09/12/2014 22:26

They remind me of something an Amish person would wear x

Alphonso · 09/12/2014 22:32

Do Amish people wear high heels, then?

longjane · 09/12/2014 22:37

Put them on your feet and see what like look and feel like.

MistyMistletoe · 09/12/2014 22:40

They look a good sturdy shoe with a nice and safe rubber sole and heal with deep grip - at least in the snow and ice you would have a chance of staying upright Smile

HellKitty · 09/12/2014 22:42

Looks a bit like the built up shoe on the charity box girl outside chemists in the 70s.

burnishedsilver · 09/12/2014 23:11

I like clarkes but they're an eyesore.

SofaCanary · 09/12/2014 23:17

Corygal · 09/12/2014 23:21

Oh save us, no.

Cos shoes are okaaaay but their paper thin leather soles wear out in seconds. Try Camper in the sale.

TopazRocks · 09/12/2014 23:27

I'd say - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But make up your own mind - they are your feet, after all. Grin

peasandlove · 10/12/2014 01:57

oh my I genuinely lol'd at those shoes. I love these threads Grin

LeoandBoosmum · 10/12/2014 05:31

I am sorry but I hate those. They look like something Noddy Holder would have worn back in the seventies. :(

specialsubject · 10/12/2014 10:43

hideous clumpy shoes. That high heel will distort your walk and make you look awful too.

SofaCanary · 10/12/2014 11:10

I'm still laughing at the charity box girl comment!

HellKitty · 10/12/2014 11:13

Well they do! Grin
