I've been eyeing them up since the beginning of the season, now they are reduced and I can still not decide whether they are quite cool (can Clarks shoes ever be cool?) or totally naff.

Help and guidance please!

I hate these threads. As soon as you click on the link, your sidebar fills up with other examples of hideous shoes.

Bum40 lady loved them, particularly in the oxblood.

With an a-line mini, black opaques and amazing legs, I think they could look great. On the rest of us, I'm not so sure.

One practical concern is whether the fringed flap at the front will start to curl up with wear.
