What age group approx is Phase Eight aimed at?

Wondering about this as there are some things I like but my mum shops there!!

I'm 35 and she is 60!

Agree sizes very generous so I find a lot of it way too big.
I did see a 'coatigan' earlier in the season that was a lovely, but promptly forgot about it and I think it has gone from website and John lewis etc now
they do similar styles each season, stretchy viscose tops, floaty silky blouses,dresses etc.
I presume these are their best sellers so they keep reappearing.

I think there are always shops that certain people love and others dont.
personally I don't get on with Zara at all despite many attempts!

I have lots of their jumpers but wouldn't buy a dress in there.

I have party dresses from phase 8, they fit really well and look fab. Haven't bought other things, I am 40

I'm 36 and have bought a few nice dresses from there, they tend to be 'posh' dresses that have been worn to weddings or similar.

I'm 34 and recently bought a dress there for a wedding I'm going to. I'd only look in there for 'occasion wear'. Would never consider for everyday things. It's all sized very generously.

I have bought the odd thing there, but don't like it on the whole. What really pisses me off, is they are one of the only high street stores to use real silk.

But the real silk designs are hideous. If they were just simple I'd consider them. But the are just droopy and nasty

I'm 49 and only go in there occasionally. I suspect the age group aimed at is around mine but they seem to 'play safe' so it appears aimed at an older group. e.g V neck tops are really high cuts - no I don't wish to show off my norks but I would like a little skin showing where the V is, not having it choke my neck. LBD are 'desexed'.
Glittery stuff is dulled.
tbh most of it looks like it could have come from BHS.

Arsenic soup the yellow lace shift isn't very conservative actually. I also don't really dress conservatively despite my advanced years.

I'm sure you don't mooth . I was just remarking that the Middleton sisters don't really dress 'youthfully' (whatever that is) or in a way that is 'typical' of their age group, so don't make good yardsticks. Personally I think Phase Eight are hard to pigeonhole, which is quite clever of them.

I'm quite tall, and get a good fit there. Also lots of scoop-backs which I like because they show off my favourite tattoo. probably not their typical customer, to be fair - but it's how you wear it, no?

I buy a few of their dresses as I travel a lot for work and you can shove them in a flight bag, pull them out and they still look good on. They are stylish enough for work and very practical. (am 50 though)

Late 40s to 60s I'd say. Based on those I know who do shop there regularly.

I'm 24, and bought my wedding dress from them. It was gorgeous. No idea what else they sell though.

I am mid 40s and I have a few work dresses from there. In fact one of he work dresses I saw my friend who is 30 wearing the same dress the other day. Its this one, its lovely and doesn't need ironing so great for work travel.

I agree it is hit and miss though. I see a lot of 50 plus women wearing their dresses in the public sector senior teams. Its OK if you pick carefully.

I used to love Phase Eight dresses. Their style has altered in the last couple of years. Dresses are no longer fitted, designs no longer eye catching . Seemed to have changed to a much older audience - can’t find anything I like there anymore sadly.
