What age group approx is Phase Eight aimed at?

Wondering about this as there are some things I like but my mum shops there!!

I'm 35 and she is 60!

I'm 44 and most of it still feels too old to me, tbh. I do have the v odd bit from there, but mostly I think it's too long and too frumpy.

agree it COULD be good though. nice stores generaly and good price point

I am 51 and quite like some of the stuff. Sweaters etc. Some of it is a bit nylons though.

I have 1 dress from them which I love, but I have never liked anything else, all too frumpy. I am 44.

I find it over-priced for the quality tbh. I had a jersey dress from there and it shrank on first wash, and got a hole in it on second. Then again, I have a silk dress from there which I love and still looks like new.

A lot of it is too drapey and droopy for my liking though.

we have a fairly large Phase Eight section in our local department store and I find it really hit and miss. I'm 48. My favourite LBD with a difference is from there and I honestly get so so many flattering comments every time I wear it.

Yet somethings I think even my dear old mum wouldn't wear.

I have a gorgeous and much-worn cardy from there. Nothing else, though, despite usually having a quick look during the sale.

PS I'm in my 40s.

I've been wearing it for more than 10 years and I'm mid 40's - it's excellent for work if Jersey dresses is your thing

I'm 44 and buy from there. But it's for my mum and she's 75 .

Their jumpsuits are fab and oh, so comfortable (I'm 41 but have bought their jumpsuits for a number of years)

I'm 44 and have recently bought a smart jumper and pair of skinny trousers there, I've also got some good work dresses.

It is all a bit hit or miss and can veer into Per Una style cruise wear.

However I feel at my age there is a bit of a shortage of good shops. Mint Velvet is fine, if you don't mind everything being gray but Hobbs is a bit square shaped for me and mega pricey. I have been buying loads from the ladies range of Captain Tortue, primarily because the lady has a stall at the school far.

Our local Phase Eight has turned into a Whistles. Not sure what that says about our leafy London suburb. On balance, positive, I think .

I've had a few things, mid 40 ', but they were all surprisingly disappointingly bad quality.

I agree with it being hit and miss. I have a few dresses from there that I really like and I have found them to be very good quality.

Generally 50+ I would say from walking past their shop front a couple of weeks ago....it definitely seems to have upped the age of its target market in the last few years.

I'm not sure really. I have quite a few jumpers from there which I love. I especially love that they are cut really loose so I can get a smaller size!

Some of there dresses are a bit mother of the bride. Which I suppose is their target market for that stuff.

Some of their evening dresses look nice.

I'm 50. And a size 18-20.

I got a lovely silver sparkly top ther recently which ripped first time I wore it. Exchanged it for a new one and hoping this one will be ok.

I have to say I always find their staff really nce.

I agree it's hit & miss. I got one of my favourite ever garments there about 5 years ago, a really nice unusual jacket for work, and a really chic lilac lace evening blouse, about 10 years ago.

Now though the styles all seem to be the same, & largely what Trinny & Susanna's victims would have worn, or look like Per Una, so I rarely pop in these days.
