A low block heel
Lace up
Mid- calf ideally

It's not going to happen, is it?

H&m?

I want boots which only exists in my mind...

My hush puppies (linked to by MrsL) just arrived, and they are lovely. Much more masculine than I'd normally wear, but a nice blocky heel and so bloody comfy. They are lovely soft leather, yet completely waterproof apparently.

Thank you everyone for your help, and particularly to MrsL for finding the imaginary boots Grin

Apolgies if these have already been linked to. I have them in brown and love them -

Oh woops, just seen you've already made the purchase!

Milmingebag · 06/11/2014 18:01

Ahem.

polyhymnia · 06/11/2014 18:14

tethers, glad you found them - I like those. Does the 'blocky' heel feel high at all?

Milmingebag · 06/11/2014 18:20

No the heel is low (about an inch) and they are comfy. Like I said before (hence the ahem!) I have them in tan and they are great because they are made in a way that will fit a huge range of calf and ankle sizes. Waterproof too.

There were dark brown ones for sale for £40 or less on Amazon warehouse yesterday -depending on your size.

Ah, milminge, sorry! I missed your post and went for all the clicky links

They are indeed fab boots, and don't feel high at all.

Milminge, do you have to scotchguard them, or are they waterproof as they come?

Tis surrigght! Grin

No need to Scotchguard - they are made to be waterproof.
