Hattie, google my name and society guardian and it'll come up.

It was a lovely one to do - covered the topic for R N I B and then it was a no-brainer to suggest it to Graun as well.

MI, I will check it out later.

Do you get much sushi en France? Just asking because when my French friends come over, they are always dying to go out to "foreign" food places because they say they have hardly any good ones.

I'm a bit embarrassed really…I went last week to Tesco and bought a tray of vegetarian Sushi and tried it in advance, so I don't make a fool of myself. It was delicious actually. I just don't want any seafood or raw fish….

I've never googled myself…just tried it and wish I hadn't as nothing came up about me. As I thought I'd be…obscure and unknown!!!

Love sushi Rose, after living in Oz where it was the luncheon of choice at that time. Don't know how many California rolls I put away but it was A Lot.
We are most keen on fancy dress. I actually have a dressing up cupboard packed with. costume bits collected over the years. I have all my mums evening dresses from the 70s , masks, feather boas, Harry potter bits , wigs etc. Blush

Hi BD was wondering where you were. And Wilbur too!

BTM - we have chains of sushi restaurants plus loads of independents. Sushi is very "in" the moment. We have loads of choice here but the Indians' are below par. I think it may be different outside Paris. I always complain about Italy in this way ie. it is always Italian food.

MI will Google.

Ah well they do complain a lot about no decent Indians, and they live in the Alps/Montpellier/Champagne... so maybe not as cosmopolitan as Paris!

Mind you have to say had a crap Indian meal in Cambridge recently - and we always look forward to a really good Indian meal when we come over.

Have been rehearsing DD2's role in the school play. I have to say, I'm a bit Hmm about her role as a slutty woman. I do think Pinter is maybe a bit beyond the sixth form.

Nice article MI.

I have been to Discover, yes! I wondered if your FB status was for me! It's great, and has a brilliant garden, though gets totally rammed in the school holidays.

Herbs, it was for you! It's got a fab Oliver Jeffers exhibition on ATM and does amazing workshops for schools :-)

Hatty, no, but I do blitz it in the mixer for ages and press it down firmly!

Woke up this morning and thought Hurrah, it's Friday. Ahem.

And I've twisted my knee a bit (not major but I know from bitter experience important not to stress it further) so can't go Ladyjogging.

To spare my possibly broken metatarsal I got on my bike yesterday for various local errands, and it was v good fun. I think I shall do it more, though it seems to take a lot more organisation - what to wear, how to carry all the stuff, where to put it at the station, blah blah blah. Not to mention the dreaded helmet hair.

So, new thread beckons. Are we going with crepeys let one off?

I vote for Gunpowder, Treason and Crepes.

Just got in, had cup of tea, now going to have a nap for a couple of hours to try and sort out jet lag.

Another vote for Gunpowder, Treason and Crêpes.

I'm nursing horrible cold & cough, just when I was aiming to be in best voice for three days of recording with choir. I persuaded DH to postpone US holiday for this & am missing start of UK holiday with family to take part. Doesn't look as though I'll be fit, though :(

DD's birthday treat was a success - Les Mis with three friends. One of their favorite You-tubers is in it, two more were in the audience. They met and chatted with all three, who were lovely to them - they were thrilled.
