Help me choose from these options (with pictures)

I need some help picking an outfit after a very unsuccessful shopping trip. I have raided my wardrobe and have found a few possibilities. It's for a christening on Sunday.
I have nude shoes or champagne sparkly heels, also a cream/nude blazer to maybe go with the black dress.
Had to do 2 separate posts, can't figure out how to get all the pics on one post, but there are 5 different outfits, any thoughts/help/advice would be lovely!

I love the first one, it looks lovely and I think it fits the brief most .Smile

bouncinbean · 16/09/2014 15:31

My favourite is the spotty dress.
I would glam it up with the sparkly shoes and buy a sparkly clutch.
maybe some kind of cuff/bangle is the only jewellery I'd add

santamarianovella · 16/09/2014 15:33

I think you look great in all of them, but I just love option 1 and 3,
But 3 more, will look great with nude heels

TiaDalma · 16/09/2014 15:39

Wow that was fast! Thanks all Smile
I only just bought the spotty one today, I tried it with nude and sparkly shoes and it just doesn't look right maybe because they are skyscraper heels so was thinking of getting some red shoes and red clutch? But could really do without spending anymore money...
butter I think I like the first one the best too! but is it not too summery for late September?

For a christening, I like #1 (floaty chiffon style)

Chewbecca · 16/09/2014 15:45

My first choice is the aqua floaty one and second is the spotty dress, none if the other 3 doing it for me for the occasion.

The aqua is more glam than the spotty dress - what sort of group are going and do you want to look glam or nice? Agree, bright accessories would be good with the spotty one, maybe jewel green or cobalt blue?

Allalonenow · 16/09/2014 15:54

I think the aqua floaty one with the lace top is the best one for the occasion, with the spotty one second.
The aqua frock is really lovely, do wear that one!

olivespickledonions · 16/09/2014 15:58

#1 aqua number is pretty and romantic and perfect for the occasion.
I LOVE the slinky black one though, and think you should keep it for another time. Where did you get it please? I may need it in my life!

puddingisgood · 16/09/2014 16:15

Aqua here too. Spot on.

TiaDalma · 16/09/2014 16:35

Ok so I think the aqua one is the one to go for. Will the sparkly shoes be ok do you think? Might have to brave the cold too, don't have a jacket that will go I don't think...
chewbecca I want to look glam! There will be quite a few old friends from school there and they always look effortlessly gorgeous.
olives I've had the black one for ages, it's one of them I put on and take off, never quite sure if I look a bit of a plonker! It's from asos, just had a look and can't see it anywhere, [[http://www.asos.com/asos/asos-midi-bardot-bodycon-dress/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4508146&clr=Black&searchterm=black+midi+dress&pge=1&pgesize=36&totalstyle=624&gridsize=3&gridRow=1&gridCol=1 this]] one is quite similar though Smile

Thanks Tia, have just bought that asos dress! Thank you.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/09/2014 17:36

Not the jumpsuit thing.

And not the slinky black one, although you look amazing in it.

Is it a bit late in the year for white? I think my choice would be the spotty one first, followed by the green one but only if it is a) warm and b) a pretty dressy Christening.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/09/2014 17:36

And don't wear the green one if you haven't got a jacket. Goosebumps are never stylish! :)

TiaDalma · 16/09/2014 17:43

What type of jacket would you put with it? The forecast is looking ok, as much as it can this far ahead ! and I imagine it will be quite dressy. I do have a v pale creamy relaxed fit blazer type thing, il have to dig it out and take a pic tomorrow I think.. My description isn't the best!

I think the spotty dress looks the nicest for the occasion. Do you have any other shoes, I would have thought plain black courts would look fine...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/09/2014 18:36

Yes, a cream one might work.
