Hideous i have pmt

whatiswrongwithyou · 13/09/2014 21:30

Yeah, not good... Even without PMT

CocktailQueen · 13/09/2014 21:31

Hmm, it looks nice on the model but if you're bigger than say a size 12 I don't think it would be flattering. Also, the collar would annoy me. Too thick to be comfy?? Sorry!

BuntyCollocks · 13/09/2014 21:34

Awful.

Not even in the 'so awful it's fab' way.

Just awful.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/09/2014 21:37

Not nice, sorry.

Eurgh , even allowing for the fact I'm peri-meno so I can't even look at something warm, that cardi is just all kinds of wrong.

Too thick, too bulky and chunky.
Looks unfinished
Sits wrong, clumsy

(You haven't bought it have you Mary ? )

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/09/2014 21:42
Grin

I did buy it and I've been looking at it wondering what on earth I was thinking. I usually rely on Oasis stuff being quite nice but it's really not, is it.

It's going back. [gavel]

It's very warm and cosy, in its defence. Seemed like a good autumn buy, but it is a warterfall cardi. Innit.

I think it looks terrible on the model and if she cant look good in it what hope is there for the rest of us. Not sure what Oasis is thinking theyre usually fairly classy

peasandlove · 13/09/2014 22:32

and dont even think about swapping it for this oasis cardi Grin

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/09/2014 22:36

That is bad isn't it.

So. I need something warm and chunky to wear. But not a jumper.

WWYD?? Grin

VeryLittleGravitasIndeed · 13/09/2014 22:39

If I need something warm to wear and I don't want to wear a coat I layer a cashmere cardie under a jacket... Toasty warm, not too bulky, and cardie can be removed if weather improves.

Redcoats · 13/09/2014 22:44

Mm I'm not keen, and I love a nice cardi including my two waterfall cardis

OldF0ssil · 13/09/2014 22:46

my office is freezing in winter so I would like to leave that on the back of my chair. I wouldn't care.

OldF0ssil · 13/09/2014 22:48

i like that oasis one but although it looks wine to me they have it listed as 'orange' Confused

HappyGirlNow · 13/09/2014 22:52

Awful....

impatienceisavirtue · 13/09/2014 22:57

Sorry, that's awful

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/09/2014 23:17

christ almighty are they supposed to be back in fashion????

OP posts:
wanttosinglikemarycoughlan · 13/09/2014 23:20

I think they are trying to get rid of the massive stock of the dreaded waterfall cardigan

peasandlove · 13/09/2014 23:21

It seems cardigans are almost always waterfall

but I quite like these done uplabel lab

this one done up too mint velvet

merino

otherwise I really like the chunky cocoon style but I cant find any to link that are a medium price point with some actual wool content

YellowYoYoYam · 13/09/2014 23:22

Ôh no it's bad. And £48! I think £25 might be my cardi limit.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/09/2014 23:24

And because I've been looking at them, my ads are now showing me loads of waterfall cardigans Grin

TSSDNCOP · 13/09/2014 23:28

There a beige neutral version. Tis actually v lovelier than the black.

peasandlove · 13/09/2014 23:28

I have decided that cardigans are frumpy. Sorry Wink

peasandlove · 13/09/2014 23:29

here is a river island cocoon cardi. Doubt it has any wool in it though here
