Acne. Benzoyl peroxide not working anymore!

I was using quinoderm 10 and my skin cleared well but it's stopped working Hmm
I've got a lot of spots on my cheeks and chin and they itch and hurt!
What can I use? I was thinking a cream with salicylic acid but which ones contain a decent enough amount to work properly? What should I wash with? What treatment will clear like the BP used to?
Help my wise ones.

Cetaphil is a rinse off cleanser. There is nothing lux or fancy about it but it is fab (and cheap!)

Duac is prescription only, and yes can be used longterm. Most acne treatments have to be carried on as you have new skin every 6 weeks so no one off treatment will fix things. People use Retin-A for years for example.

Ooh I will keep an eye out for that Cetaphyl stuff. Do you just buy it from a pharmacy?

I think duac is what my GP said he will prescribe me if this doxycycline stuff doesn't work.

Boots sell it (as will every pharmacy) but it's usually in the slightly medicinal aisle next to the plasters rather than in the lovely skincare section Grin
