I've had all of my hair cut off into a super-short pixie cut. I'm generally pleased with it, and dp and the dds all say it looks nice BUT the overall vibe is a bit more Jamie Lee Curtis than Winona Ryder. Any tips on how to soften my overall look up a bit? Earrings? Different make up? Anything else?

Marking place, as I have recently had the same haircut, and am going through all the same feelings as you, Remus.

I don't think this 'do is for me long-term, as all the time I save on hairstyling, I now spend on extra make-up time! I like it enough short, but don't think it's 100% me.

Well, I've decided that I('m v happy with it - have honestly had so many lovely comments that I couldn't not be. I think I'll like it even more when it's a week or two old, but generally I'm happy.

I've got lots of pretty studs - mostly just the Accessorize sterling silver ones, but I would like a couple of dangly pairs too, I think. I also bought some tiny silver hoops.

Agree re make up taking much longer though!

Actually whilst we are in the subject of hair- I had mine cut v short and didn't like it. Growing it out a bit but no idea what to do next with it- love the convenience of short but want to look womanly. I have a shoulder length bob for years but I have crap fine hair plus more than a sprinkling of greys as I move through my 40's.

Any ideas (pic attached) - I will need a cut of sorts soon?

I really like the ultra short pixie cut, esp in dark brown. Dirty hair cream from Lush is supposed to be nice for styling.
