Thanks Beachy for the frisky title suggestion.

Well, here we all are!

I am definitely on for the 25th. Grin

And Waterloo is perfect for me. Where do people want to go?

bigTillyMint · 13/07/2014 20:24

Yes to 25th - there were quite a few of us up for it IIRC. Will look upthread! I don't mind where we go. I loved your Turkish place MrsS, but I fear my ex spotted me when I was walking back to the Elephant the last time...

bigTillyMint · 13/07/2014 20:27

Oh Stropps! Fab! Come on peeps - it will be fab (f we don't all end up wearing the Biden dress!)

QueenQueenie · 13/07/2014 20:45

Oooooh Mrs S, how lovely! Does it smell fab?
Fracas is my all time favourite smell .... but I've yet to own a bottle. Just have a good squirt any time I'm passing through Selfridges or Liberty.

QQ, it is quite a gourmand scent. Grin CV will like it. I am not a fan of Fracas, I'm afraid.

QueenQueenie · 13/07/2014 21:10

Me too please!

NUFC69 · 13/07/2014 21:49

Well I will be closer that day but in the Midlands en route to the Cotswolds for a Ruby Wedding Anniversary party the following day. One day ....

Have a good time.

CointreauVersial · 13/07/2014 21:49

God, no, not a fan of tuberose (sorry QQ).

OP posts:
hattymattie · 13/07/2014 22:04

Well football's boring innit.

NUFC69 · 13/07/2014 22:11

I have given up on it and come to bed, Hatty. I can't get excited at all - must admit I have the radio on though.

hattymattie · 13/07/2014 22:19

Yup NU I'm going too.

QueenQueenie · 13/07/2014 22:57

Me too was a count me in for the 25th rather than an expression of hope of expensive gifts from dh....

Auriga · 14/07/2014 07:23

I can come on 25th Grin. Not drinking though. My body is a temple. Only slightly ruined.

Overdid it in the garden, aching all over this morning.

DMum back from niece's graduation. Disapproves of changes I've made, like taking leaf out of kitchen table. Cue martyred mutterings ("I'll just take my cereal and have it on my knee in the sitting room, there's no room for me here").

I told her how good DD's report is and how delighted we are. No comment, not a word to DD. Cooked her a beautiful roast dinner. She ate it. Again, no comment. Sulking for Scotland.

Salted caramel green tea, Yuk! Will try to remember to bring it to meet-up for someone who can actually swallow the stuff Grin

Hey ho. Another bloody Monday. I feel on a bit of a treadmill at the moment. Mostly because CDiff is back on the case. I can remind myself that every single other client loves my work, but this is Wearing.

Blackduck · 14/07/2014 08:42

MI - yes Monday again (and last full week of School for ds..... sob and it's the 'nasty' bit of sex ed today :) )

I want another day off - am hanging on to the fact I am off from next Wednesday.......

MI - you rock CDiff is a prat....

bigTillyMint · 14/07/2014 08:49

Last full week of school for me too! And it is like a sauna in my room as the heating was on at 27ShockAngry

Rosebag · 14/07/2014 09:44

Gutted to be missing another meet up opportunity! Sad One fine day, I hope.

MI do you need CDiff in your life? What a pain.

Last full week for us…should have been an extra week but they decided to close early for building works at DD's school. She's very tired and prob needs a break but I have work commitments that week….aaaargh

Still wibbling over DS2's impending trip on Wednesday.

Rudy yes, DS1 is from my first marriage and there's 10 years between him and DS2. DD is my youngest at 14 and I am OLD!!!

Tilly do you have a DS with a flat? Where?

I'm off to teach a daytime class. Co- script writer texted yesterday to say that he's observing today and shall we spend a few hours writing afterwards. What does he think… that I have nothing to do (he cancelled the last 2 writing sessions…. Hmm

motherinferior · 14/07/2014 10:06

Sadly, yes, Rosebag, I do. It's about a quarter of my income at the moment.

I have however written my own book for an hour, and just snapped up the last two pairs of Toast straight-legged jeans in my size for a tenner each, which brings me considerable joy.
