I think in this day and age they should communicate with you. A buyer would be much happier if they knew that their item would arrive before a certain date. They should really give everyone who is not going to get their item within 7 days an email to say that their goods will be delayed. I do think the lack of communication is the thing that really angers people. If they cant cope with the demand of their products then why on earth have they continued their sale. Seems ridiculous to not have posted out goods to people but still accept orders!

I didn't set up an account but haven't had any kind of despatch email. I appreciate your crossness on my behalf though.

What part of all sale bags may take up to 28 day to arrive did people not understand?

It was there at the checkout, nice and clear, 'delivery between 3 and 28 days'.

This is exactly what happens every time they have a sale, people do not read at checkout how long it MAY take for their bag to arrive.

On facebook, people are asking how long and they've only ordered a week ago! Next come the threatening to cancel and how 'bad' the customer service is etc etc!!!! All because people do not bother to read the delivery information that Zatchels clearly display each and every time!

Every clearance sale attracts huge attention and they have thousands of orders to get through and that is why they tell you quite clearly that it may take a month before your bag or bags arrive.

Every single time without fail, people order and a week later are asking where there bag or bags are!

Every time I point out Zatchels clear delivery times!

Read before you buy if you are not happy in waiting up to a month to receive your bag.

Sorry nerf, not having a of at you, it's the ones on facebook that start ranting that they ordered the bag for a gift and how they'll never buy from them again etc etc!

But within the faqs they say that they will endeavour to despatch clearance bags within 7 days. So I can understand people's frustration.

You do sound a bit over-grumpy FisherKing, they also say clearance bags often (if not always) go out quicker, and that's what most people here have ordered!

I had my second clearance order come before my first. It's fine but given they know how busy they are I do think it wouldn't hurt to have more systems in place so that stuff like creating an account works (I tried on three orders), etc. We are giving them a lot of money.

Lol 2 minutes after I posted that I got my despatch email! Ordered last Tuesday.

Im not bothered about waiting just quite excited to get my bag :) so obviously I want it here like yesterday!!! I do agree, people have to be patient but there is no excuse for the distinct lack of communication. You should get a secondary email informing you that your bag will be delayed because....and that the money will not be taken from your account before despatch. If I remember right people had their money taken and then waited literally weeks. That is how you lose business in my mind.

Oh and I got my despatch email for one of my other bags. its going to be here tomorrow!
Now, strangely I ordered the purple metallic saddle bag first and it went out of stock and then came back into stock well after I had ordered it. That would suggest that when I placed an order that it was in stock as otherwise they wouldn't have said they had 35 left! So then, where is it? Just a thought rather than a moan.

I don't care anymore, just had an email saying they are due tomorrow. So, totally agree with Fisher, what's wrong with you people

Got my second dispatch email today, for my micro-satchel.

So the only one I'm missing communication on now is my first order, which I've emailed them to ask if I can cancel it, but they haven't replied yet. Fingers cross they get to it before it's sent out.

Got my second order today but not my first.

Got confirmation that they've cancelled the first order as requested, so when my bag is delivered tomorrow I'll be all done. Hurrah! And lovely bags so chances are I'll order again in some sale in the future.

I got my solar sparkle one and its absolutely bloody gorgeous!! Im just over the moon with it!!!! Think i may take it on an outing tomorrow!!! :)

I made two orders. My second one of five red micro metallic ones has been despatched and is with the courier.

Order placed 28/6 - No further communication
Yes yes I read the up to 28 day thing but also read they often despatch MUCH SOONER which gave false hope!
Tried to call and email for a rough estimate but nil response. It's the crap customer service that I'm annoyed about now.

My 27 June order hasn't been sent yet, my 28 (?) June one has. Dd will have to wait

Thats exactly what i was saying. It is crap customer services really. They should communicate with you. People would be happier if they knew they would have to wait until a particular date. I am still waiting for my purple metallic saddle bag..now how come on the site yesterday they are STILL saying they have loads left, even when you try and buy one and yet i still havent recieved it. It really does not make sense.

If I was running a business where it clearly stated that items would be sent between 3-28 days I'd be really pissed off and confused if people were asking where their stuff was after 13 days- after 28 fair enough but it said between 3 and 28 so I know it might be 3, it might be 10 or it might be 28. Probably why I don't run a business though, I've no patience like that.

That said, they probably should reply to emails if they get them.

Got my final delivery - pleased that the micro satchel, while micro, is still big enough to fit my keys and wallet (just) so will keep and should get some use! Not sure they're worth any more than the sale price though.

I bought a pink elephant saddle bag in the last sale and I really like it. A bit stiff for everyday use though.
