I don't live near my family and am close to my cousins but we are spread our so it doesn't matter if they get the same gift! As I don't often see them I don't mind buying nice gifts as I'm not spending money on buying a round of drinks or a coffee like I did when we all lived nearby.

The prices are so good in the zatchels sale and they are such lovely well made bags, it's worth it for me to bulk buy as it were!

Totally agree. They are fantastic value atm. They are beautiful bags. im delighted with my red metallic one and eagerly await the rest [ saddle bag in metallic purple and a solar sparkle one for kids but its mine unless my dd pinches it but she is only 7 so way too young for it yet. Will give it to her when i tire of it [ old meanie that i am!!!] I dont really have anyone to buy for as most of my relatives i dont see and i have two brothers and i dont do xmas for anyoone apart from my own family.

My bags are waiting for me at work apparently (not sure if it's just the purple barrel and blue elephant, or also the purple elephant) - and I've just ordered a red with white hearts micro satchel to match some sandals I have :).

No more though! (probably)

Has anyone got the pewter? Is it nice? Thinking gold might be a bit too much as a 13 inch??

I dont have the pewter but i do think it looks lovely. The gold also looks nice. I have an 11 inch in the cobalt metallic blue and its lovely. I have just got the red metallic in a 13 inch. Both are beautiful. For me, i like to have something that is a bit different so i would go for the silver ha ha... I find that the pewter is lovely but not eyecatching enough. The gold does seem quite bright but i do like it but maybe not for everyday. The silver for me is eyecatching and not to OTT so i would tend to go with that!! Thats my opinion but it depends upon how you feel and what you want your bag for.

Google the bag you like and look on blogs and Pinterest to see the bag in real life.

A stock photo against a white background doesn't really give you a feel for the colour and size.

I think that Zatchels could use models on their website to give an idea of how the different sizes look when being carried. On here and on facebook, there are lots of people asking others what each other's bags are like.

I agree. I have even gone on 5 you tube. It's good to see how something looks on a model as you say for size and style. When I see the micro satchels they look cute. when I see them on a model they look too small for me.

No. When you try and buy it, it comes up as out of stock for all sizes. No saddle bags in that colour either.

Right, I am a Zatchel virgin but have just ordered 3 saddle bags in the large size to see which I like best:

Purple metallic
Red lava metallic
Pewter metallic

...and it finishes tomorrow. Just wondering who has their bags? Who is still waiting. I am still waiting on two others. Says they are 'printed' which according to the web means they will be posted either today or tomorrow? Hoping so. Fed up waiting tbh. What about everyone elses orders?

Finally got (waiting for me at work) my blue elephant 13-inch satchel and purple metallic barrel bag. They're fab! Though there is a weird line/mark down at the bottom above the stitching that goes around the whole barrel bag. But I think it's fine.

Haven't heard anything about the purple elephant bag which I ordered first (and came back into stock after selling out), so I have emailed them to cancel that. Originally I wanted the purple more but having seen it in the flesh I like the blue.

Only just ordered the red/hearts one so expecting that will be this week or next (if it was genuinely in stock and not being made to order).

Checked pics and that mark is obviously meant to be there/comes from the manufacturing, so that's cool. Anyway glad I ordered though not sure I will keep the red/hears micro satchel when it turns up as suspect it will be too small!

I'm still waiting, mine said it was printed on Friday and is still listed as printed.

That's good to hear you got most of yours and you are happy with them. I have the teal elephant one..is that the same as the blue elephant one? Its a gorgeous teal blue colour. I got it from the last sale. I haven't used it yet, its beautiful. I am still waiting on mine...hope it comes before I go away next week!!!

Yes, mine is still saying 'its printed'. Seemingly upon googling is that they are picking it from the warehouse and posting it out today or tomorrow...but who knows!! I think it has been 'printed' now for a few days but that might have been the weekend. I cant remember.

My first order said printed the day after I ordered. All orders MAY take up to 28 days.

All my orders in the past have arrived in this time frame. Some multi orders arrive under separate cover.

Bags they already in stock will be sent first.

I couldn't get creating an account to work so I can't log in to see my remaining orders, annoyingly.

It's a teal blue Greengarden - so probably the same one - it's lovely! :)

Well all of mine were bought from clearance and im sure they said 7 days or so...so no idea when they will come. I suppose its 7 days now. Lets hope its any day now! [positive thinking ha ha]
