Would love to know. Thanks!

1 No 5
2 Coco

MozzchopsThirty · 22/06/2014 19:33

Chance
Coco mademoiselle

springbabydays · 22/06/2014 19:35

Allure. Worn it since I was a teenager (but not for work).

thecatfromjapan · 22/06/2014 19:38

28 La Pausa, and the one with the date: 1932? is a close second, but 28 La Pausa is my absolute favourite. In fact, it is one of my favourite perfumes, full stop. If there was a perfume equivalent of "Desert Island Discs", it would be in the little beach hut with me. Smile

Why are you asking? I'm very curious. And what is yours?

thecatfromjapan · 22/06/2014 19:40

Ah! I see your favourite is Chance. I missed that on my initial read of the thread.

cathpip · 22/06/2014 19:43

Coco, closely followed by No5.

catwithflowers · 22/06/2014 19:44

Coco Mademoiselle and Chance

Muskey · 22/06/2014 19:46

I love number 5 although my niece tells me it smells like cats pee on her and coco

selee · 22/06/2014 19:47

Thecatfromjapan. Ooh I've never heard of no22, I shall have a look and google it. And yes I do love the chance, it's smells cosy and reassuring but also elegant. I'm asking because I would love to extend my Chanel worship !

Muskey, v.v funny!

Allure, then Coco.

No5 reminds me of being a little girl of 7, when I got a sample bottle for Christmas! Was fabulously grown-up.

BeatriceBean · 22/06/2014 20:01

oooh i've got a question...

If I bought a 35ml Channel 19 eau de parfume spray, and used it almost daily (but only a couple of quirts) how long would it last....? Is there a way to work it out?

flightdove · 22/06/2014 20:02

Cuir de russie

WitchWay · 22/06/2014 20:14

No 5 is my favourite

Also like Allure & Coco

No 19 smells funny on me

8dayweek · 22/06/2014 20:20

Coco Mademoiselle. A 50ml bottle of EDP has just lasted me since Xmas and I've been using it at least once a day (perhaps should have bought the cheaper one for "work" days though in the interest of being a bit more economical).

MiniTheMinx · 22/06/2014 20:27

Dolce Vita

MiniTheMinx · 22/06/2014 20:29

Oh sorry that's dior, I love it, chanel Coco Mademoiselle

selee · 22/06/2014 20:48

Ok, here's a question.... Which would you most wear on a date?

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 22/06/2014 20:51

Cristalle - bought it as a teenager for the first time and I love it.

Chance comes second.

No 5 third.

Kundry · 22/06/2014 21:07

Hopeless with Chanel as the aldehydes = instant headache. No 22 is lovely though.

thecatfromjapan · 22/06/2014 21:09

Don't think 28 La Pausa is very date-y. Unless, perhaps, it was a day-time, "Let's visit a gallery" sort of date.

I'm not very good with the other Chanel perfumes, tbh. Sad

I love the idea of finding the ;erfect "date" perfume, though. I'm wondering if you want a soft, "edible"-type perfume, or a soft patchouli-musk (like Paul and Joe "Bleu")? But I have no idea which of the Chanel's fits that bill ...

I'm intrigued now - I hope you get lots of answers.

(And what's the date, that is so special you are buying prefume for it? Wink )

Muskey · 22/06/2014 21:13

It depends on your age but as a more mature woman I would say number 5 if your younger I would say no 22

Rainydayblues · 22/06/2014 21:42

Coco - have just been given noir and I like it but it doesn't have the same longevity.

HamAndPlaques · 22/06/2014 21:50

No 5 and Cuir de Russie.

My test whenever I try a new perfume is to ask myself, 'do I like it as much as I like no. 5?'. Consequently I don't buy very much perfume...

I'd like to try Jersey.

SnapeAndLily · 22/06/2014 21:52

Chance eau Fraiche - love it
