Do you match your nail and toe polish?

I don't normally wear anything other than very 'natural' looking colours, but am looking to try something brighter for holiday. Do,people match nails and toes?

I generally only have toenail varnish on but if I do have fingernail varnish it will generally be clear whereas my toes are brightly coloured.

No, it seems a bit "eighties" to me.

think it looks way more together if you see someone with painted toes

I sometimes have painted toes. Not normally nails.
I thought I would have a look at the weekend re what others, especially my age group do about their toes.
I was surprised to discover that most of them didnt paint them.

OR I do a different shade of the same colour - so light coral on fingers, bright coral on toes. Thats my favourite look.

I think it looks too matchy-matchy to have them both the same. Like having the same colour bag, belt and shoes.

Nope. My toes are nails inc bright pink today and my fingers are barielle pale shimmery pink
Generally I do neon or reds on my toes and anything on my fingers

Most of my friends match them though.

No. I currently have neon yellow toe nails and a lavender ish colour on my finger nails. But that's coming off tonight and a mint green is going on :D

Bright or dark toes with nude or neutral fingers in summer. Darks and brights on fingers in winter, toes bare as no one ever sees them. Never matching.

My toes are always pink but nothing on fingers as where not allowed it at work

Mmm... Differing views. In summers past I would have nude on nails and darker shade but similar on toes. My new shade is a lavender blue. Have currently got on both and will see how I feel. This colour is BIG departure for me!

Always. In a nude/pinky colour. Also, always in gel.

I have only just grown my nails out again (after three hears of study-related gnawing) enough to paint, and right now have Barry M Raspberry on fingers and toes I will swap it on my fingers for a nude or coral before I go away this weekend though.

P.S. Whoever it was on here that said about rubbing Vaseline on my nails every night, thank you! Really helped them recover and grow.

If my fingers and toes match it's just a coincidence.

I used to only use red on my toes but this year I'm going with any colour. They are currently a kind of mid blue. I probably paint them every 10 days or so.

I wear any colour under the sun on my finger nails. They are currently a very dark turquoise with a sparkly accent nail. I re do them every day or two.

I usually have similar shades ie coral on my toes and pink on my hands or vice versa ,I tend to always stick to the orangey pink end of the colour spectrum in summer
Always paint my toes year round regardless of weather etc. I just like my toes better painted !

Noooo, too matchy-matchy. This thread has reminded me if my mum's eighties magazines which advertised matching lipstick and nail colour. Shudder.
