Are there any nice comfortable flat sandals this season other than clarks? Please share what you ladies are wearing for summer sandals

Saltwater sandals. From Toast. Or their own website.

yazzy85 · 30/05/2014 17:24

Do the saltwater ones look good in real life? Not frumpy?

Fairylea · 30/05/2014 17:45

I think it totally depends on what you wear with them to be honest. And also I'd go for a colour rather than the tan or navy as they can tend to look more frumpy in my opinion (but I'm not exactly style guru of the year!) I love them. The purple ones exclusive to toast are lovely.

EyelinerQueen · 30/05/2014 17:47

Saltwater. I have the bright green and the red (the tan are a bit Jesus sandal-y).

Not frumpy at all the way I wear them (with vintage sun dresses or 50's pedal pushers and a contrasting pedi). They're the comfiest sandals I've ever owned!

Georgina1975 · 30/05/2014 18:01

Depends how much you want to spend. I got some green ecco sandals and never had them off my feet last year. They are like walking on air and comfort is important because I walk everywhere. Have my eye on these now:

I also love saltwater sandals and would like to think that i am not frumpy. I have them in red and getting the champagne ones too when they come back in stock. They are the only sandals that don't hurt me. I have the most sensitive feet in the world. I cant wear anything. Every other shoe makes me blister and I'm crippled within ten mins. But i can wear saltwaters all day.

yazzy85 · 30/05/2014 20:16

I wear skinny jeans or leggings normally, would the black saltwater look ok?

rideyourbike · 30/05/2014 20:55

Birkenstocks!

Ifyoubuildit · 30/05/2014 21:01

I've just ordered some plain black ones from here - www.esprit.co.uk/flat-and-heeled-sandals

alemci · 30/05/2014 21:54

got some earth spirit ones in tk max. really comfortable and adjustable velcro, great for my slim feet.

emsyj · 30/05/2014 22:05

Inspired by this thread I have ordered the patent yellow saltwater sandals... DH will hate them, but oh well. He hated last year's Clarks super comfy sandals too, but they were so practical! Loving the bright yellow, pretty much all my clothes are navy or royal blue (lots of nautique stripes going on also) so I think yellow will look okay??????

Buttercup27 · 30/05/2014 22:11

I may get flamed for this but crocs make some really nice flat sandals and they are so comfy. You can't tell they are crocs either as 5 hey really don't look like them .

NormHonal · 30/05/2014 22:14

Saltwater sandals are extremely comfy, and as a PP has said, with a colourful pedi - not frumpy IMVHO.

BeattieBow · 30/05/2014 22:14

MirandaWest · 30/05/2014 22:27

Do Toast stores have saltwater sandals in? Would quite like to try some before ordering. Am quite tempted by the purple ones

ShineSmile · 30/05/2014 22:29

Birkenstock?

yazzy85 · 30/05/2014 22:45

Toast doesn't have the black ones online, I may have to order directly. How is the sizing on these saltwater sandals?
