Are there any nice comfortable flat sandals this season other than clarks? Please share what you ladies are wearing for summer sandals

Those with Saltwater sandals, do any of you have narrow/shallow feet? Am wondering if these might work for me... Thanks.

Selks · 31/05/2014 17:22

Art company sandals.

FIFIBEBE · 31/05/2014 17:26

Saltwater sandals seem to be out of stock everywhere.

ohmymimi · 31/05/2014 17:29

I've just bought some Earth Spirit ones from TK Maxx. V. light and comfy. I still love my huge collection of Birkis, though.

Notgoingtotakeitanymore · 31/05/2014 17:42

I have narrpw feet and saltwaters ok. I sized down. They are v flat I find altho leather doesn't rub I can't walk for long due to flatness

SinglePringle · 31/05/2014 17:46

I have deformed feet (bunions) and have these in gold, silver and black (all glittery).

CoconutAmericano · 31/05/2014 18:36

I have regular width feet and my saltwaters fit fine. I am a 41 and the 8 fit perfectly.

higgle · 31/05/2014 18:47

Top shop - they call them "Geek Shoes" I also got some lovely Birkie style sandals too.

NormHonal · 31/05/2014 18:49

I have narrow feet and my Saltwaters fit fine.

RedKites · 31/05/2014 22:55

Thanks Notgoingtotakeitanymore and NormHonal . That sounds promising, I may give them a go.

Rivercam · 31/05/2014 23:12

I love Josef Seibel shoes. They are so comfy. I trudged all around London in them today.

Blackjackcrossed · 31/05/2014 23:22

I love my Saltwaters I've had them for a few years in red and gold, I don't think they look frumpy and no blisters on my overly sensitive skin. I also have Birkinstock Arizona - very trendy, I think they do tend to look frumpy on me, but I wear them when my arch is playing up - even their leather uppers tend to give me sore spots if I walk a lot.

BikeRunSki · 31/05/2014 23:26

I have these in silver. Comfy all day - long walk, couple of miles - straight from the box.

Georgina1975 · 31/05/2014 23:45

Never heard of Art Company Selks. Love their shoes...def. going to get something. Thanks!

Scarletbanner · 31/05/2014 23:59

Not completely flat but the comfiest sandals I've ever tried: Fly London Oily wedges. Horrible name, great shoes.

Selks · 01/06/2014 13:08

Georgina, they're great, really comfortable, well made and durable. I have some art company boots that have lasted me five years and are still going strong Smile

BringMeTea · 01/06/2014 13:25

I found my salties a little on the small size and quite narrow. I do have quite wide feet but am usually a true UK 7. I kept them but definitely not much wriggle room.

revolutionarytoad · 01/06/2014 18:05

I've just bought these from Urban Outfitters and these from Topshop and planning to wear them as sandals. I simply couldn't find anything else I liked, so fussy.

American Apparel were doing some quite nice Jerusalem sandals but they've only got size 11 in now...

revolutionarytoad · 01/06/2014 18:06

ah x post higgle! glad I'm not too misguided in using them as sandals!

mythical · 01/06/2014 19:30

I've had this dilemma recently as I'm pregnant and last pregnancy I lived in my Havaianas. This time I'm working and I think I would probably get the eye from my boss if I turn up on flip flops. I've gone for the Gizeh in turquoise from Birkenstock and I love them. They took 3-5 wears and a couple of painful blisters for my feet to get used to them but now they're great and I think they look quite nice too :)

oxcat1 · 03/06/2014 14:21

Are saltwater sandals ever discounted? Would love a pair but a) they are almost sold out everywhere, particularly in the red, and b) quite pricey!

Have people found they have gone up one size generally?

everythingsgoingsouth · 03/06/2014 16:39

ooh, just got clarks "purely crystal" they are sooooo comfortable.TK maxx, £29.99 (£47.99 clarks)

ThatVikRinA22 · 03/06/2014 16:48

BikeRunSki · 03/06/2014 17:59

oxcat don't think they are ever discounted, they sell out anyway! Shoe shop near me has lots in still. Not sure of size or colour, or if they'll post out. I can PM you their name if you want.
