Rudy - Twinings make it, and you can buy it in Tesco (and presumably other supermarkets - it is probably right up Waitrose's street).

And it's green tea, so no milk. It's my pre-bedtime treat when there's no wine

Morning crepeys.
BTM sorry to hear you are being tested again by dds behaviour. I know we've talked about this before and I hope you are ok. Do pm me if you need to vent.

I had an appalling day yesterday involving pain misery and etc. have made private physio appointment on the back of some advice from a radiologist friend of a friend .I am hoping yesterday was the lowest point and now the only way is up. Confused

Weather amazing here so dh is attacking the grass with vengeance and I am directing from a deck chair.
Dd is off to an anti-racism rally in the sunshine.Smile

cremolafoam · 31/05/2014 11:39

Oh and Rose hope things are not too bad with both the DCs and DF.

originalpiratematerial · 31/05/2014 12:52

BTM you have my sympathy.

I'm feeling a bit frazzled today after 1 am heart-to-heart with ds1. Feel useless! Wish I had a magic wand.

Blackduck · 31/05/2014 13:48

It's warmer here than of late. Dog seems better - but not eating - but at least that means less aftermath to deal with.....

BTM hope things have calmed down a bit...

Cremo hope the back is feeling better

bigTillyMint · 31/05/2014 18:09

Thanks folks.

Things are calm here as both DC are out, but still not really moved forward with DD Sad

Sympathies to you too OPM - it sounds like you may have teen woes too.

Cremo glad to hear you have been out in the sun. And I am putting salted caramel tea on my Tesco orderSmile

Rosebag · 31/05/2014 18:17

Thanks crem We are home now. Boys left the place not too bad...just with a slightly manky smell that always seems arise when I'm away and no ones cleaned the toilets! DDad is in hospital and they're keeping him in...he's not eating and this is causing a lot of problems, particularly for DM who keeps shouting at him. I have to distance myself when this happens...I can't bear it. I now have all the unpacking and washing shite to face but DH wants to go out to hear the band that plays periodically at our local theatre. Band...washing...band...washing...what to do?
Have faith crem this pain will get better. More healing vibes to you from this end.
BTM do hope teen angst is moving on now.
BD also hope the dog recovers
Wonder how mother is doing...

bigTillyMint · 31/05/2014 18:31

Rosebag, glad to hear your DS's hadn't decimated your house - there's hope for us yet! Sorry to hear about your DDad.

CV, I meant to say that I know many mums who despair of their sons lack of commitment to their studies, me includedSmile

motherinferior · 31/05/2014 18:55

Honey, I'm home!Grin

Ergh. Uh. Well, it's done and dusted. I survived thanks to (a) alcohol (b) lovely DSis, who reproved me when I was getting just too cross with our mother. Yorkshire v beautiful. My parents v annoying, especially my mother's refusal to realise how much nine (9, ix) people - including two teenagers - eat, and expecting one small packet of pasta to feed us all. Lovely DSis finds this particularly difficult as it brings back memories of parentally-induced anorexia. I also find I model far too much of my own relationship on my parents', and have determined to be nicer and more assertive.

My nephews are fab, I must say. And the Inferiorettes want us to do it all again next year. When my mum (who was clearly miffed not to be centre of attention all the time) turns 80...Shock

Welcome back MI. May I present you with your< I have survived > rosette Grin
Rose it sounds like your parents relationship echoes my own. Dmum incandescent with rage that poor dad has now to get both eyes cataracts removed on top of the last 6 weeks in and out of hospital ( over £200 on parking , I'll have you know)Shock

Oh pricks up ears at crepey meet up.... Camping isn't going to happen here - getting dp to commit to any time away before this bloody conference just isn't going to happen. So next two weeks for me are hell, but otherwise name a date and let's see - surely there is a crepey birthday we can celebrate?

Rosebag · 31/05/2014 21:49

Ooh do you ever meet anywhere north of the river?
Well the lure of the band won and I'm sitting here drinking a loverly gin and tonic listening to 50s, 60s 70s and 80s covers. It's nice as the band are friends. Beats domestic chores hands down
:-)

CointreauVersial · 31/05/2014 22:07

MI - sounds like a successful trip. I can relate to the whole food shortage thing - my parents haven't increased their catering quantities at all since the grandchildren were toddlers and can't quite come to terms with how much they all eat. Even DSM, who is "never knowingly undercatered", gets caught out. Plates licked clean, biscuit tin stripped bare moments after lunch....

Two lovely words were printed on my payslip this month - "Tax Refund" Grin The company mistakenly overpaid NI to the tune of nearly £500 last year, so it all came back to me. So DD1 and I went to Bluewater today, and spent a fair amount of it. I bought this dress at 20% off, for next week's wedding (my god-daughter), but now I'm fretting it's too tight and clingy, blah blah blah, even though DD1 and DH tell me it looks lovely.....Bah.

CointreauVersial · 31/05/2014 22:08

You made the right decision, Rosebag.

Blackduck · 31/05/2014 22:25

CV it will not be too tight and clingy on you....

Rosebag · 31/05/2014 22:42

You reckon CV? We're doing the Time Warp at the moment..,

Rosebag · 31/05/2014 22:46

Yes MrsS - how's the head?? :)

Lovely morning here so I will bung on a load of laundry then walk over the hill to check out the Italian food festival.....

bigTillyMint · 01/06/2014 08:47

CV, that dress will really suit you. We all imagine things to be more clingy than they actually are to others

Lovely weather here tooSmile
